I want to know that computer application in bcom degree is equal to dca. I have selected in ldc exam. They are asking for dca. But i have computer application subject in bcom degree. If am i elegible or not? I have read out desicion of kerala high court in which court consider elegible for the job in which dca compsury.

No,DCA is a diploma course .And Diploma in Computer Applications course is not equivalent to graduation.Graduation course is the next level after completion of diploma course.

Duration of DCA course is 1 year and duration of BCom course is 3 years.

B.com is an undergraduate degree in computer application and DCA is Diploma course in computer application.
For UG course , class 12th or diploma in relevant field is required.
But for diploma course , class 10th is required.
Hence BCOM has wider scope than DCA and it can never be equal to diploma.
If they are asking for diploma and you have bachelor's degree, then you can easily apply for the course with bachelor's degree as it equivalent to PG Diploma in computer application.
Diploma is equivalent to class 12th not Bcom.
Bcom is an undergraduate degree after diploma.

No, It is different, DCA has different course content, you will get knowledge more than DCA in computer science, like about networking , c, c++ and any other computer language.
