Hi friends, I have applied for J&K Polytechnic Entrance Test for admission in Diploma Engineering courses. I want to know about the pattern of this entrance examination. Can you please tell me the exam pattern of 2019?

Examination pattern of J&K Polytechnic Entrance Test is given below:

Duration of the exam is 3 hours

Mathematics – 70 questions – 70 marks

Physics – 50 questions – 50 marks

Chemistry – 30 questions – 30 marks

English – 30 questions – 30 marks

Total – 180 questions – 180 marks

There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

The paper will have questions as per the 10th standard syllabus

Examination pattern of J and K polytechnic entrance test 2019:-

Mode of the exam - Written exam

Duration of the test - 3 hours

Type of questions - MCQ type

Number of questions - 180

Negative marking - There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Standard of the test - The paper will have questions as for the class 10th standard.

The distribution of questions is given below:-

Mathematics - 70
Physics - 50
Chemistry - 30
English - 30
Total 180.

Exam pattern:-

Mode of exam is offline.

The language of the test paper will be english only.

180 questions will be asked in the exam.

Multiple choice questions will be asked.

Maximum of 3 hours will be provided to complete the test.

2 marks will be deducted for wrong answer.

SUBJECTS WITH NUMBER OF QUESTIONS:

ENGLISH - 30
PHYSICS - 50
CHEMISTRY - 30
MATHS - 70

TOTAL - 180
