Is Aadhar card compulsory to apply for an education loan?


Hello sir, I have applied for Aadhar card but yet not get received. I am planning to apply for an education loan. Is Aadhar card compulsory to apply for an education loan?

No, Aadhar card is not a compulsion in order to avail education loan. You can opt for education loan even without an aadhar card. Aadhar card is asked by the bank to link your account with the aadhar card number which will ensure proper tracking by any authority especially income tax authority and other banks as well. It is recommended to submit a copy of your aadhar card when you receive it in the bank from which you are seeking education loan.

I want to apply for student loan i have my adhar card but mother the co-applicant she doesn't have it but she have her pan card so it will be possible to apply for loan ?
