Can I get fee waiver or scholarship or T.A if I have secured 7th Rank (General) in KIITEEE for M.Tech admission in ECE Branch?


I have secured 7th Rank (General) in KIITEEE for M.Tech admission in ECE Branch. Can I get fee waiver or scholarship or T.A ? Also what are the percentages of M.Tech Students getting placed from KIIT ? I belong to poor family.

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for scoring such a good rank in KIITEE. However, I am extremely sorry to say that there is no provision of fee waiver or scholarship or T.A. But you can get scholarship which will be one time for scoring good marks. This will be when the following situation occurs.

- One-time Scholarship is given to the candidate who secures the first position in KIITEE and takes admission in KIIT.
- Since you are 7th and if the 6 students before you do not take admission in KIIT, you will get one-time scholarship in KIIT.

Placement record of KIIT is very good and it has maintained a good placement record over the past few years. Almost ninety percent students get placed from M.Tech. However, the job offers will not be of high packages. You can take help of education loan to pursue your higher studies.
