Respected Sir,
I am doing MBA in Hotel Management through ICICI Bank Education Loan. This is my 2nd semester and I met with an accident. I haven’t appeared all my internal exams. Doctors suggested me to take rest atleast 5 months because I have a leg fracture. In this case, bank discontinue my loan?

According to norms and conditions of the bank, the bank has right to discontinue the loan amount.

Generally, the candidate has to clear all the subjects and bank will check the candidate's performance every year and if they are not satisfied with the candidate's performance they have the right to stop the loan amount.

As you have not cleared the semester exams, there may be the chances of discontinuation of loan. Although you have met with an accident, you have valid reason to show the actual reason for not clearing the exams.

Once the approach the bank and clearly describe the situation why you have not appeared for the exams, then the bank will consider and continue the loan amount.
