Sir/Mam,

I want to ask you why these scholarship are given mostly to all the reservation caste candidate and not to all the students, who are eligible for it.? Can you please elaborate more on my question? I really wanted to understand the reason behind it!

There are various scholarships and there are some scholarships which are given to the general candidates too. However, it is true that most of the scholarships are for reserved category of students. The reasons are -

- India has a huge population so it is not possible for an organisation to provide scholarships to all the e students.
- The reserved category people had been exploited in the past due to which they could not rise high in their life and opt for higher studies. Hence to promote higher studies and to encourage them for higher studies, scholarships are mostly given to them.

Scholarship are given only for reserved caste candidates because they lived their life in more difficulty than others.
Because of their financial conditions they are not able to go to good schools, they can't afford coaching and tuitions.
Scholarships are given to those candidates who scored good marks even after facing financial problems. Also, financially weak candidates left their studies, so to help them in their studies, scholarships are provided.

The main aim of the scholarship is to provide financial support for all eligible and meritorious candidate's to pursue higher education and for economically backward candidate's.

It is mainly offered to only reservation candidate's because to encourage the backward categories to pursue higher education.

There are few scholarships offered to all candidate's irrespective of category.

The minimum eligibility criteria for applying merit scholarship is that the candidate must have seucred a minimum of 80% marks.
