hey there is no scope for mainframe in north India for freshers and still if you go for it than try in south India institutes..i have also done mainframe course form HIGH TECHNOLOGIES NOIDA AND TRUST ME IT'S THE WORST INSTITUTE...i had wasted my 20000rs..and they offer no placements just make fake promises before admission also the faculty there is worst..pleaaase do not waste your money in that institute...

yes you can do Mainfrmae course for your percentages in 2010 HCL has taken plenty of people for Mainframes without seeing the Percentage and all they have concentrate only on Technical Skills .

There is no openings for freshers on mainframes ..eventhough if you put a fake experince compines are not shedule for contract employee......
choose better choice and learn java or .net is better...by doing these u will get job early .
if u have just 6monts exp you may get good hike.
i did mainframes after my MCA still i am searching for job.
my friends got on java and >net with 6000 after 6monts they taken around 18000
