hi dear,
to crack the gate exams, then i will suggest you just prepare for this exams according to the syllabus. GATE is an objective type test with multiple choice questions with total time duration of 3 hours. There are 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. There is a 33 % negative marking for every wrong answer. To crack GATE exam you can prepare well with your mathematics portion and you can prepare well with your general aptitude.You need to score high in these two sections as they play important role in scoring good marks in GATE.

Hi,
GATE is objective type competitive exam. All the syllabus is as is of your 4 year branch subjects In GATE exam . So work study hard.All the subjects are Important . There are 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. GATE exam have Total time duration of 3 hours. There is a 33 % negative marking for every wrong answer. Sorry my friend I cannot give the list of important subjects because you did not mentioned in which paper you are going to write GATE.So here I am sending a file which contains the syllabus for GATE for all branches.
