Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

They are eligible only For Officers' Training Academy - (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): into which Unmarried women are eligible.

How To Join Indian Army After Graduation for Girls

You said that your friend is a graduate..then she can appear for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) exam..

In order to appear for the CDS exam..the candidate needs to fulfill the following criterion :-

1) You should be a graduate or a final year graduation student

2) You should be within the age limit of 19-23 years and unmarried..

Apart from these..the candidate must be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

First,you need to clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical exam..

The candidates who have 10th standard qualification can join Indian Army. The selection process is based on the exam conducted by UPSC. This is for the post of Soldiers and Technical officers. For the post of officer the candidates requires training from any reputed Army Institute. Those who have 10+2 can apply for the NDA and for joining IMA the candidate should be a graduate. The NDA and CDS exam are carried out by UPSC twice in a year. The procedure includes a written test, physical test and medical test. A group test and personal interview will be there also at final stage. Separate exams are conducted for both the graduates and 10+2 candidates. The training will be also given separately. For the post of technical assistant the candidates should be between 16 to 32 years and to join as a soldier the age limit is 16 to 30 years.

Its good to here from you.As you said she has completed B.COM she can go to the army office in her district and she has to undergo several tests.If she is an NCC student then its very easy for her to get into it or she can write CDS exam.

if u have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks then u can appear for nda exam or if u have done graduation then u are qualified for upsc exam.you should preferably have science as a background for technicalline otherwise u have to enter in non technical line.the most important thing is that u should have hips of gk,update ur self with current affairs.etc.read daily newspapers and read various competitive type magazines.also maintain your physical fitness accurately

You can join Indian Air Force for technical branch. The age criteria is 18-28 years.

•Eligibility:

To join in Indian Army you must clear any one of the entrance exam conducted by UPSC. They are CDS exam and NDA exam. Both of them requires that the candidate must be an un married male candidate. Thus the first condition it self says that you can't join in Army as a female.

There are some entries which may allow girls also. Some of them are
1. NCC Special Entry
2. Law Graduates
3. Women Special Entry
4. Nursing Officers (SSC)

You need complete 12th from a recognized university.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.

This is conducted by UPSC for those who are interested in gettign in to Defene services.

UPSC conducts this exam twice every year.

Only male un-married Students are eligible to apply for this exam.

You need complete your 12th from a reconized board to apply for this exam.

Your age need to be between 16.5 to 19 years.

If she want to join Indian Army after passing the graduation then the have to qualify the C.D.S exam..

C.D.S stand for Combine Defence Services..

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C. twice in a year..

Her age age limit should be in between 19-24 year..
Only medically fit candidate can qualify this exam..

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Date of Notification:-02.06.2012
Last date of receipt of form:-02.07.2012(MONDAY)

After passing B.Com she is eligible for Indian Army...
For this she have to qualify the C.D.S exam..

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year.

Eligibility For NDA

The NDA (National Defense Academy) Exam is conducted by the UPSC in April and August

The candidates must have the following minimum eligibility criterion for appearing in the NDA Exam :-

1) The candidates must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as on 1st July of the year of the exam

2) The candidates must have completed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board

3) Only unmarried males are eligible for appearing in this exam

I am really sorry but females are not eligible for appearing in the NDA Exam

If you are really interested in joining the Armed Forces then you can do so by appearing in the CDS (Combined Defense Services) Exam which is conducted by the UPSC in February and September

Candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criterion for appearing in this exam :-

1) The candidates must be graduate degree holders from a recognized University

2) The candidates must be within the following age limits for joining the various academies :-

Naval Academy : 19-22 years
Air Force Academy : 19-23 years
Military Academy : 19-24 years
Officer's Training Academy : 19-25 years


The written exam will be of 300 marks equally divided into 3 sections of :-

General Knowledge
English
Basic Maths
