Yes you can do B.com before MBA but the better option is to go with BBA.

As i'm also a science student and i have also done BBA so from personal experience i'm giving you the following merits of BBA over B.com.

1. BBA is easier than B.com- The subjects are much easier and provides you the basic knowledge.

2. As you are a student from science stream it will be difficult for you to grasp the things of higher level of B.com, BBA is easily understandable.

3. MBA is a professional course and requires specialised candidates, BBA helps you to become a specialised candidate in either Marketing, Finance or Human resource.

I think both BBA and B.Com course are quite good for MBA.

If you wish to take specialization in Finance,then it is better to take B.Com course.

This course helps lot in financial background,so that you will not be stain so much while pursuing MBA.

If you are interest in other specialization other finance,it's better to take BBA course..........

which one is better for you. but according to me b.com + mba is better because
there are so many computer graduates these days with different degrees like bsc,
bca , m.sc, m.c.a, btech. it will be better not to enter a field with so much
competition. with mba you will have a broader scope in the job market & it
is related to your bcom degree also

If you really want to do MBA as a post graduation degree, then I would suggest you to do BBA, instead of B.Com.

Because MBA is the perfect option for a BBA student.

Besides this you can take any course as your under graduation course, because anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field is eligible for MBA.

If you want to choose any graduation and after that you want to go for MBA then you can also do your graduation degree with BBA.Its very good option for you.You can learn the basics of managment and business.So its very good for your future to choose BBA.If you want to do b.com or bca then you dont have the knowledge about first step of your field.But if you choose bba then its very good for you and also you have very good knowledge about your field.

Hello Shubham,
I believe BCA+MBA will be a better option because with BCA, you will get good knowledge of computers and programming which is very much necessary in today's IT world.
Next, MBA will propel you to a very high paying or senior post in the long run.
So, your knowledge of computers would be an added advantage.
And also, since you are from not from commerce, b.com will not be easy for you.
Look for a good college offering BCA..

If you are aiming to go for MBA then it doesn't matter in what specific field you are choosing for your graduation. It seems anything you can choose.
If you go for BBA then it will enrich your Administrative background.
But if you go for B.Com then your numeric skill will be increased and in your future life you can do your specialization in Accounts in MBA.

Both B.com and BBA programs are good. Though Bcom has its own limitations, while with BBA your prospects will be quite high. As with BBA, you get an idea about management fundas, which will help you to enter in MBA easily. One of my friend is also doing BBA in Logistics Mgmt, from UPES,Dehradun. He told me that UPES is offering very unique and interesting programs, which are in huge demand in the market. Some of them are like BBA in Oil and gas marketing, Aviation management, Logistics Mgmt, Auto retailing etc. If these programs interests you, look for UPES. It is famous for its programs, faculty and infrastructure in whole of pan Asia region. Best of luck for your future!!

you can do MBA by choosing either of the branch.As for pursuing MBA you need to have bachelor degree from a stream.
Being a science student it will be wise to do c=some course with science background and then MBA
If you have interest in commerce and also the combination of two course works better .B.Com being a bachelor degree in commerce with the MBA degree you will be able to have knowledge in both the field which will help you a lot than doing it after BBA.
It is not that BBA is not worthy but the combinations suits better.You can also do after BBA .
Decide your interest into which field you want to go and then choose it.

actually it depends on the field you are are interested in joining after the completion of your mba degree,
different fields demand different areas of expertise for example if you are an mechanical engineer then the subjects like supply chain management,operation management etc will be really good for your career,
for an graduate in civil engineering i think mba is not that important instead an mtech in construction management will be an more useful course if you are interested in working at the site
for people from the software background an mba degree in the fields of hr ,logistics etc will be more useful
for people from commerce back ground finance is the best and most thoughtful option

First of all your decision is good to do MBA.
Nowadays it's very useful for your career.
I think you should go for
B.com because that will help you when you will do your
MBA...B.com gives you the
basic/fundamental knowledge
in accounting and
mathematics
(Statistics,probability etc)..The BCA is a computer application
program which will give you
the knowledge on computer
languages which are helpful
but when you are doing the

Hi dear..

As a Science student, you may go for B.Sc. or even B.Tech/B.E. but if you don't want these as your career option and you are only determined to choose one of the three courses you mentioned i.e. BBA, BCA, B.Com

Then , you first have to think where your interest lies in.

If you are technology oriented and want some technical knowledge, then only go for BCA as you will be taught from very basic to advance level about computers, and then you can get a job related to either software analyst, software engineer, or Assistant Manager after doing MBA after BCA.

But if you are a money oriented person and also want to learn the way all business works then you should go for B.Com .

And yes, it's sure that you have to do MBA afterwards, so don't go for BBA at all, as it will be no use to you...!!
