Re: Percentage required in 12th Boards to get into Aeronautical Engineering?
Percentage requirements in 10+2(physics,chemistry, mathematics) to get into aeronautical engineering , differ from exam conducted All India levels & state level, which are as given followed........
-> To get admission in top most college one need to qualify IIT, for which minimum percentage requirement is 60%. -> To get admission into good colleges thought AIEEE,you need to have minimum of 35%.. -> where as for admission in state college, one must have passed 10+2, and need to qualify engineering exam conducted by higher education state board. |

Re: Percentage required in 12th Boards to get into Aeronautical Engineering?
Hi friend,
You are very much interested in Aeronautical engineering. Requirements for Aeronautical engineering: 1.Age Eligibility: 17-23 years 2.Percentage in 12th: Above 55-75% 3.Ranking in entrance exam – like AIEEE , Pre Entrance Test (State Test), IIT JEE etc., If you are joining in any of the private engineering colleges through management also can join. It has more scope for jobs. Good Selection. Best Wishes. |

dear friend,
To join in aeronautical engineering you have to first crack the entrance exams like- AIEEE, IIT-JEE.. After qualifying in any of these exams you will be able to take admission in aeronautical engineering course. 12th marks is not so important.. If you have 40% aggregate in 12th then you will be eligible... All the best.. |

Re: Percentage required in 12th Boards to get into Aeronautical Engineering?
Hi
If you want to study aeronautical engineering , then IIT's are the colleges for you. To get admitted in any one of the IIT's firstly you have to score a minimum 60% in your boards. And then crack the IIT JEE exam. Or else you can give the AIEEE exam also and if you get a good rank, you can get your choice of stream. Otherwise, BITS Pilani requires a minimum 80% in class 12th boards for you to be eligible to apply for their entrance exam. Once you clear it, you can get admitted there also. All the best. |

Re: Percentage required in 12th Boards to get into Aeronautical Engineering?
MNC's are the Multi National Companies which work and function both in India, and abroad. So these are the top companies which recruit the best professionals from our country.
Now the Basic Requirement which the MNC's ask for is : You should be a minimum graduate from a recognized university with a minimum 60% aggregate if you are from any technical line like Medical or Engineering. Otherwise 50% is the requirement. If you have even lower percentage, I am really sorry to say that you will have to face tough times ahead. You can try for the IAS, IPS, Civil Service exams. There is you do well in the entrance exams, then you might get a good job. Or try doing MBA from a reputated college. It would definitely help you get a job in MNC's. |

Re: Percentage required in 12th Boards to get into Aeronautical Engineering?
You have to appear for exams like IIT JEE,AIEEE, and the rank you obtain in these exams will decide what stream of engineering you will get.If you want to do aeronautical engineering you should aim for a good rank,as it is one of the most sought after streams.
You should also atleast obtain 60% in 12th board exams to secure your admissions through these exams. The minimum percentage required is upto 80% in some private colleges. Best of luck. |
