i want to inform you that to appear in the exam of IAS there is no marks criteria related to either +2 level or graduation level. The only requirement is you must have graduation degree.there is age criteria that is as follows: 1. for general category - age must be less than equal to 30 years old 2. For OBC/SC/ST - age must be less than equal to 35 years old Best of luck |

there is no minimum percentage required to be an IAS. the need is only you have to complete your graduation. and give entrance exam for IAS. All india rank which you will get in IAS entrance exam will decide you for the IAS post. best of luck |

Look friend for IAS or IPS there is no any such criteria established by UPSc as the miinmum percentage of marks required to appear in the exam.
So you need not to worry and just what is need ust you try to have command on whatever you study because for getting success in UPSC exam you need to be an all rounder having knowledge of different fields So first be graduate and then appear for exam with full preparation |

there reqires only minimum percentage in 12th or in any other class for attending that is min of 50% better you go with the preparation of groups and then you may get a chance of reaching your dream note that: it depands on your skill and talent asa well as on your IQ as majority of the questions in group test will be related to politics and current affairs, you should be thorough with all these you can acheive it all the best |

IAS is INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE . The exam is conducted by UPSC......... nd there are 3 exams to be given under it.....
preliminary main nd interview....... there is no rule that the student should be a high scrorer.......... the person should be a graduate from any field and if you are a science student then basicaay anthropolgy is done as an undergraduate course as it is an easiest subject and the person gets good time to study for IAS exam......... the exam has general knowledge paper and and 2 language papers....... one english language paper is compulsary and other is of our own choice.........nd the last step is to clear the interview which is the main and yhe most important phase.................................. |

hey buddy there is no any reqirment of minimum or maximum % in 12th for becoming an ias officer but you have to work very hard for it. and you can also get some more information from upsc.gov.in

there is not any mark restictions to apply for ias..You just have to be a graduate and you have to be in the age within the range of 21-30 years...you just have 3 chances to attempt for IAS...so I think you should use your chances carefully..

See 12 class is not an eligibility criteria for IAS. IAS requires a graduation course. So no matter what your percentage is in 12. But in graduation u should be having a good percentage. so 12 is no bar for IAS, first complete your graduation. thank you |

12 standard is no bar for becoming IAS officer as it is not the required educational qualification. The eligibilty criteria as follows: Academic qualification: Graduation from any certified university and in any stream. Age limit- 21 to 30 years relaxation 5 years for sc/st 3 years for obc thank you |

There is no extra percentage or more percentage are needed for IAS exam. Just qualify your any under graduation degree. Then prepare for the IAS exam well.
You have to work hard to get through the IAS. Refer many General Knowledge books. Be strong in GK, History and about our Country's history and its resources. That may you to score marks. Hope God help you to score many marks. |

Hi!
There will be no percentage required for the IAS exam. The eligibility for appearing into the IAS will be simple graduation from any authorised institutions. A student having 40% marks in the graduation can apply for the IAS exam. So if you fulfill the requirement then apply for IAS. Good luck!! |
