Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
dear frnd,
in my view B tech+m tech will be far better than b tech+MBA. because doing btech+mtech you are getting specialization in your field. you can do relatively better in your engg field. either you can join private companies or govt. jobs or can join teaching field. you can also do reasearch. all d best. |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
hello dear
see both the courses are equally good. if you want to do your core related job or research oriented job then Btech+mtech will be best option for you. but if you are not interested to do engineering job.then btech+mba will be best option for you. but to get promotion in a company MBA is essentially required. all the best........ |

friend, this is fully depend upon your own interest, which course is suitable for you.
as per recent market the course B.Tech+MBA is better option for you, because now a days the market of MBA is very booming. But if you are interested in technical field or in research sector then M.Tech is better for you. kindly go through your own choice. good luck. |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
Hey we are not the one to choose your career. We can just guide you the path which is the best but when you ask about two post graduation streams which have their own value then we can't answer it.
Everything depends upon your interest about what to choose. If you are interested in Business management, finance, marketing sector then you can choose MBA.Compared to M.tech course you can get high pay in this field if you get yourselves selected in top companies . If your interested in specialization in your core subject then you can go up with M.tech. Ex:-If your from EEE then you can complete your M.tech course in Power electronics,Electrical machines,Control Systems..etc. all the best |

TECH is core technical degree Leeds towards research areas (technical research ) whereas MBA Leeds your carrier in the business field . now it totally depends on your carrier interest whether you want to remain in technical field itself or you want to join other field. you can choose either of them both are good . all the best |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
hello sir
from your question i understood that you have did B.tech + M.tech this is the best thing what you have done in my opinion because after B.tech we have good subject knowledge and we can become masters in our subject which is very good one if you choose M.tech after B.tech it will not fetch you much (interms of job satisfaction) and the whole subject is new for you in MBA where you will have a tough competition from b.com and b.a students so for a b.tech graduate it is best choice to continue with M.tech neither than M.b.a this is according to my opinion if you have much interest in business administration then nobody can stop you you can go with m.b.a make the right choice suceed in you life wishing you all luck ~aditya~ |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
hi!
Both MBA & MTech. offers bright career opportunities with handsome salary & high promotional prospects. If you are interested in research & development or wants to study or work in the engineering field then you should opt for Mtech. But if you are interested in building your career in management then you should pursue MBA. MBA offers a no. of electives to choose from. You can choose any elective depending upon your interest. MBA degree will allow you to work in wide & varied field. |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
My dear friend,
I would suggest you to take either mba or mtech in which you are having more interest. Both mtech and mba are having very good future prospects. But my suggestion is to go for MBA. Through this you can become efficient in technology point of view as you are having technical background and as well as in management point of view as you are going to study the management course MBA. In today if you are having the enough stuff, MBA people are being sold as hot cakes in the market. And my one more suggestion is dont take it easy of doing mba course just for the sake of certificate. Unless you are having good communication skills, managerial skills and corporate knowledge along with the ability to make strategies with analytical thinking there is no value of doing MBA. So concentrate on above things. Apart from this, attempt some NCFm certification courses offered by NSE-national stock exchange. All the best. |

Both are good options. It's up to your interest. If you want to go with technical stream only then you should do mtech and if you want to do both technical and management then you should do mba.

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
HI FRIEND,
M.TECH after B.TECH IS THE BEST OPTION: Both have great value but i will suggest you to do M.TECH after B.TECH because both are same streams .After doing M.TECH you will have a great value if you have done B.TECH as your UG Course. Doing MBA is not a problem but its fully based on Business Streams. If you do MBA after B.TECH you will face some sort of difficulties so ,its better to do M.TECH after B.TECH.You will get a good salary in M.TECH FIELD. Good luck! |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
Hi.
B.Tech is the basic degree which most people are doing these days. Now the next step where most people are stuck is in this question. B.Tech + M.Tech OR B.Tech + MBA ?? I would say why not B.Tech + M.Tech + MBA ? See, education always pays back. So once you have done your B.Tech, then according to me you should go with your M.Tech. It would advance you as a technical individual, and also improve you in terms of your knowledge. So MBA is not going anywhere, because once you are done with your M.Tech your technical degrees are over and then you have a choice of gaining experience for a year or two or go for your MBA, and then hit the market with the complete package. All the best. Regards #RJ# |

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
Do m-tech regular couse and after getting a job go for MBA by distance learning when you feel it is required other wise in my openion M.tech along with btech is a good and bright option for you i will sincerely urge you to remain in your technical field and not to try and change it for any reasons so go for Mtech and do well in it if you feel like doing MBA then do it from corrospondonce otherwise not required and once you do a job you can easily do MBA.

Re: Btech+mtech or btech+mba?
I think MBA+btech would be better even though technical line would be changed but companies are more interested in choosing the candidate who have both technical and knowledge about management rather than choosing the one with only technical knowledge. And also offers higher packages.

I think it depends on which field ur interested whether u always wish to be in technical field then u can opt for BTECH +Mtech.IF u wish to move out in business related field then u opt Btech + mba........both are good courses but the best combination is of B.tech+MBA as always the second degree matters the most.so doing MBA from good college will really help you.Now still i will say that it all depends on interest in which field you want to go.
