for ias examination you should have thorough knowledge of the subjects,
you have to follow post graduation level books,
for starters you can start with solving problems of DASGUPTA,
then THOMAS FINLEY is good for calculus.

algebra:k.c.prasad
matrices:schaum series
nemerical analysis:s.s sastry
