can i get any nit with 14000 obc rank in aieee 2011

heyyyyyyyyy my AIR is 11000 and state rank is 104 can i get EEE seat inNIT surathkal..???
i belong 2 OBC category but i'm tamilian is t valid for joinin in surathkal cz iut is in karnataka ll they consider me as OBC student???
if not BOLzz 2 demmmmm..:P

to be frank it is not possibe for u to get admission in nit allahabad as ur rank is just to high u should try for other collages

Dear friend
getting NITs with such a rank is not possible especially in the case of general catogary.
If you belongs to obc catogary, then there is a little bit chance.
But don't worry, your rank is good so you will surely get other good private collages.
Just appear in the counceling and fill your choices.
You can also try different states counceling if you want good private collage.
West bengal, rajasthan, maharastra, orissa etc fill some of their seats through AIEEE.

which college i will get in 69000 rank in OBC in AIEEE ?

No it's not realistically possible to get a seat in NIT allahbad unless you have some quota.

The best option for you is to look for Private universities and colleges that are also very good for pursuing an engineering degree.

You should also attend atate counsellinf of various colleges like UP, AP, Orissa, Karnataka, WB and Tamilnadu which fill their seats through a separate counselling.

sir my AIR(sc) rank is 11,184 is there any chance to get nit Allahabad ?

With this rank you will not get chance in NIT Allahabad. But don't worry you will get chance in good private colleges. So please attend the counciling. This year cut of marks for general category is 48. For OBC category the marks is 45 and for SC/ST/PH the cut of marks is 15

first tell me your aieee rank only then i will be able to suggest u something of that kind

Log onto www.ccb.nic.in
click on opening and closing rank and select college and see your rank according to your cateogry.

sorry friend NO NITs for you your state rank is really very low

and in this regard the only suggestion would be to stop thinking about

NITs and concentrate on private colleges and take good colllege

at the earliest as private colleges tend to get costlier and also chances of getting good seats dwindle.

HI,
I am sorry to say that you can not get admissions in N.I.T Allahabad because your rank is very low.
For admissions in N.I.T your rank should be above 18000. If you want you can take admissions in any low ranking college.

But in my opinion you should try next year also so that you can get admissions in top N.I.T.

dear friend, as your rank is too far so you will not get nit allahabad but you can try for other colleges. this year cut off is just 55 marks so you are eligible for councelling. chances of getting a government college with mechanical, civil or electronics are very less but you will get good private college very easily. so its better go for that.

To get admission in the NIT's you need to get the rank in top 10000 all over India and in top 500 all over your state...In your case, it is very difficult for you to get admission in the NIT Allahabad... But, you can still try for other government or private colleges....
