Hi dear,
No dear, the minimum qualification for joining NASA is you have to persue b.tech in aerospace/aeronautical engineering or M.sc.in physic or it different branches, with atleast 65% aggregate, from a reputed institute like IIT,IIST. There is a direct recruitment plan for ISRO scientists. First become a good engineer or persue higher studies in science with excellent academic record then think for it. there are various scholarship programs also through which you can join there but at least after b.tech or m.sc. For your convinience I willadvice you to visit NASA's official website once, you will able to get much information from there. http://www.nasa.gov Thanks |

For space research you must take the science stream and must score the good marks minimum 60% in your PCM.In space research the basic need is physics and maths. If your chemistry is not so good then no problem but you have to improve your maths and physics so well. You must clear all concept. After 12th you can do BSC in physics and scores good marks after that you can do MSC in Astro Physics after that you can go in space research. If you really wants to make your career in space research then pursue your studies in the field of mechanical engineering or either you can select aeronautical engineering. After completing your engineering you are eligible to give entrance papers in some of the elite research centers such as ISRO and BHABHA. I think this could be the best way for you to achieve your goal.

Of Course, your plan is really good. However, pursue the B Tech program in a recognized institute. Also, try to score really high marks. Then only you will be eligible to apply for the NASA jobs. Getting a career in NASA is not as easy as you think. Strive wholeheartedly in a systematic manner to get an employment in NASA. Moreover, you need to carry out the PhD program after completing the Masters’ course. It seems like you wish to be a pilot. If you want to become a pilot, you have to undergo at least 1000 hours’ pilot training. In addition, you should pass the physical standards of fitness.
