hi friend,

I think that IT branch is best suited for girls because of following reasons:

1. It really requires less efforts in practical than any other branch in engineering.
2. Exams are totally theory based hence chance of passing is increased.
3. Conceptual based study no ratafication is there.
4. Less subjects in curriculum then other streams.
5. Ratio of boys and girls are almost same.
6. projects in IT are bit easier than other branches.

No effect of Gender in any fields except in mining engineering.

In any branch of engineering you can get office oriented jobs like computer oriented designer in mechanical and chemical fields.

But as per survey the highest number of girls are pursuing electronics and computer engineering branches.

dear friend,

girls are in engineering field is common today.but sometimes it is noticed that in the time of getting job there are some restrictions.for this purpose i am telling you for studing all stream is best for you.but you need to specify your working area.computers ,IT and related fields are common today for girls.but it is uncommon that if you are taking arcitecture, civil engineering, town planning engineering then you have two options 1st is you can be a designeer which is home bound work and 2nd is college lecturer.for lecturer you need to do M.Tech.

Choose the best which you are interested in.

good luck.

in 2010 there should be any difference with male and female in the work field. for every stream girls are suitable.

but if you really want to choose the suitable job for job then i will suggest you to go for computer science engineering or information technology. both of this branch mainly you have to work with computer and in a room. but one thing may be you have to go outside of your home to do job. so you have to compromise with this.

i think you should not think about this. go for that stream in which you have a good interest and knowledge. that will be better for you. you can go far with this. do not be conservative. come out and lets see the world girls are not behind the male.

best of luck.

Look my friend at present time there is no any field left in which girls don't have their presence. They are present in all the stream.
So its upto you and your choice in which you should apply.
But there are some specific fields in which girls do have some problem due to more field work.
So due to this respect you can join chemical or computers

Hi,
Mostly girls opt for the field of IT and computer.
But find out the branch in which you are interested in rather than
the field which girls opt for.

Hello friend,
While choosing ur job .... give first priority for ur interest . Dont think that girls take this branch or not.
For example...like in electrical power , mostly there are boys, but in my college , there are girls in that same branch who performed better than boys.
So now the branch::
Biotech ... u can consider as good bramch.. then there is comp sc, electrical , chemical.

This is depend upon your own interest.Civil engineering is all about open field related jobs, and need more effort. But ECE jobs is basically AC room jobs like maintain PLC panels, circuit problem checking etc etc.

But both are pays respect in their own field.

Advantage in civil engineering is that after certain years of your career you can be a consultant for construction jobs.

Civil engineering have more scope.Other than construction jobs you may opt for planing, designing jobs.

Or be a town planner by pursuing a special course,or you can be an architect.all field are open for you.or be a house consultant after few years in this field.

Do not be confused, chemistry and chemical engineering are not same.Chemical engineering are related to physics and mathematics.implement their funcitional property and laws.all are based on mathematics.Chemistry portion is 5% in chemical engineering.

You can opt for chemical engineering but you can not get chemistry in your 4 year syllabus,so before coming prepare your mind.

Hi,

All engineering branch such as: -

1. Electrical Engineering

2. Mechanical Engineering

3. Electronics Engineering

4. Computer Science Engineering

5. Information Technology engineering

6. Civil Engineering etc.

Above all Engineering branchs are suitable for girls but depends upon their interest. If girl are having interest in any above branch then she can do.

In job, generally girls are posted at office for office work.

According to my opinion all branchs are suitable for girls and if girls are interested in software field then she can do Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology engineering.

Best of Luck

Hi,

Hi,

It is not so good if you don't have a good interest. If you are left with this as the only choice then go for it. It is not that it has no scope. The thing is that it is more male dominated and companies also prefer a male to part of projects.

i recommend cse n IT because now a days girls are leading this industry.
