Don't bias yourself on basis of gender .There is no engineering course which differentiates on basis of gender .Go for what you find interesting however mostly girls choose for CS and IT as their is more luxury and fancy associated with this branch along with good salary

IT industry being the most flexible industry, it is also suitable for girls as compared to other fields like mechanical or electrical.

When we choose our branch, first thing to be considered is " what we are interested in".So first analyse yourself,which field you like the most.

Then as for as Branch is concerned for us Computer field,Biotechnology,Fashion Designing,Interior Designing and decoration,Textile technology.These are my suggestions.....

And would love to opt for a branch like Civil or Mechanical....
So please tell me the best suited one and which has the most scopes of good placements and packages...
Also Please tell me the best colleges for that...

The best branch in engg. will depends on you, if you are able to do hard work then you have options like Electrical engg. , Mechanical Production or civil engg. but if you need less body work then you can do electronics or Comuter science.. GOOD Luck

there is nothing specified for girls and boys.....it depend on your interest......

simple thing u need to understand is u should have focussed mind and goal to

Well there is no restriction of any branch in engineering for girls ,as nowadays there is a large number of girls in each and every branch of engineering.
According to me,Information Technology is best suitable branch for girls,as it does not have lots of hard work.
Information Technology is the somewhat software part of Computer Engineering.
It provides the applications of Computer in nowaday life.

yes you should change your branch

gender does'nt matter in doing or pursuing studies ,now a days girls are eqvalent to boys all the branches of engineering are good for girls it is in the hand of student to take the right decision. ece,eee,mech,civil,cse,chemical engineering ,automobile engineering,

Its not that one engineering branch is good for girls and other branch is not good.

All branches are having their own career scope and opportunities. One can choose the branch which they are more interested .

As per the girls perspective, many of the girls prefer to choose IT branch.

In fact that is a good choice for girls and even for boys too.

IT boom is strongly coming back.

Soon after the completion of B.Tech with IT branch, one is being recruited in too MNCs with good packages.

But if you are interested in other branches, you can choose the one which ever you are interested.

Computer science
Information Technology
Electronic and communication Engineering

Nothing like that. Dont underestimate yourself

Girls are now equal to boys and in some cases they are even better than boys.

So take up engineering. Choose the best which you like or which you prefer. Every year most of the girls opt for electronics because its sitting work and you know girls prefer not to stay out in sun so less number of girls opt for civil engineering

Same with mechanical. Biotech is also preferred. Computer Science too.
But dont do what others are doing

Follow your heart and choose the one your heart beats for as you have to make a career in that branch

I am studying in KIIT university, Orissa and recently completed my 1st year B.Tech with good CGPA.I had taken admission in Electronics and electrical engineering.I have got the chance to change my branch.But I am in dilemma whether to shift to computer science or continue with EEE.In our college, CS and IT companies come more but EEE is considered top branch in our college and meritorious students are in EEE branch.People say that we can shift to cs any time.

i just want to say that E.C and E.E are the best branch for girls

For girls, I feel Information technology, Computer science and Biotechnology has good job opportunities. Even if you do ECE, E&I, Mech, production etc...girls have very few job opportunities in Core Industries. So finally they end up in IT jobs.

If the person is creative, she can take up BE in Fashion technology. When I joined BE this branch was not introduced. I missed it.
