It's totally depend on your interest what you want to do.If you are interested in higher studies then just go through Mtech.
Otherwise if interested in public and private sector jobs then go through:
*Civil services exam
*PSU companys exam
*Otherwise seat in private sector company exam.

You have completed your B.Tech this may and you are confused what to do next. After doing B.Tech you have many things to do in your future such as you go for higher studies, job.

My suggestion to you that you should go for M.Tech after doing B.Tech because in after completing M.Tech you have many good job offers in software companies with high demanded salaries and facilities also.

For taking admission in M.Tech you have to passed your graduation course which is B.Tech with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university in a discipline manner. And you also have qualify the GATE examination with good percentile. And after qualifying this examination you can easily take admission in M.Tech.

The best option after completing the b.tech you can do m.tech or C-DAC. because if you do job after your m.tech then there is a better scope for high package.

Actually it is all dependent on the mind of the student. he can do job, further study according the mind.

sir,I have also confusion about the higher studies. I passed B.tech in 2011.I have interest in M.Planning(URBAN PLANNING),and also interest in M.des(vehicle design).which is good and what are the job oppertunities.

if r looking for good salary in m.n.c then u can go for MBA......if u r looking for knowledge then must go for mtech.....if ur family have the stability in financial field then my suggestion is why lose your's technical knowledge must go for mtech...........

m.des is one of the most sort after course for an mechanical engineer in todays job market and also the pay is very high for this course ,
if you are able to do this course from an reputed institute like the iits then the importance increases even more ,
there are companies like the bmw,volkswagon who are ready to give an package of more than 7 to 8 lakhs even to an fresher after doing this course ,
also you will be always in an good post in which ever company you are working,
so try to get an good rank in the gate exam and do the course from an reputed college like the iisc banglore or the iits

dont get confused. first of all check out which are the interesting areas you have. if you are interested in further studies then go for your further studies in a good university and if you are not interested in going for further studies then do a job.
in choosing a job also you have got many options like private sector or govt sector.
for a B.Tech graduate you have many oppurtunities in both private and gove sector. if you are intersted in joining it field then many MNC's are welcoming engineering graduates and if you dont want to be an it professional then you can write UPSC or any state govt public service exams.
you have plenty of options, what you have to do is depends upon the interest levels you have on a particular thing.
dont get confused by thinking much but know what are the interests you have and go according to them.

as u have told that have cmplted btech... so friend after btech u are eligible to appear in lots of psu exams .. like ntpc,bhel,ongc,...etc.. i think if u are from core branch then u should start ur career from a public sector... after working for a good period ,if u want to switch to private one then it would be extremly beneficial to u .. a great hike ... so friend. .. just apply and try to catch the world...

After passing B.Tech there are many option like:-
> I.A.S
> I.P.S
> C.D.S
> Railways
> B.S.N.L
> D.R.D.O
> O.N..C
etc

If you want to study further then you can go for M.B.A, M.Tech
For admission in to M.B.A college you have to qualify the exa, like C.A.T, M.A.T, X.A.T, G.M.AT etc

For admission in to M.Tech college like I.I.T, I.I.S you have to qualify the exam like G.A.T.E etc

After B.Tech you can exam of UPSC & GATE entrance exam.
and for job,
you can apply for NTPC,BHEL,IOCL etc.
and in higher studies ,
you can M.Tech and many post graduate degree.

if u find a suitable job like u then take it and take admission in any open universities like IGNOU for higher education.

As you said you are poor in electrical subjects,you can change your subjects in Mtech if you want to pursue your higher studies in technical line.
Decision of what to choose among MBA or MTech should be yours and is totally upto your interest.
Look MBA deals with business admin and is totally different from what you were so far so if you are interested in management and want to change your stream then MBA would be good for you.But if you want to continue in technical line then MTech will be better option.
doing any of the above two courses will offer you higher packagae.

I am late in replying to your query I guess but still replying as many would be having the same doubt.

It depends on your interest what you want to do in your life.
If you want to go for higher studies you can go for M.Tech and MBA.

If your interest lies towards technological side and you want to work as engineer and go for higher studies, then you should choose M.Tech.
You can appear for GATE in your final year of B.Tech or next year. No work ex required for GATE

If you want to work as manager and want to see yourself at managerial position. You should go for MBA.

I would advice you to take up a job and have a work ex of 2 year before going for MBA as its helps you not only in getting into B. School but also help you understand the concepts well.

Yes, you can go for MBBS but it wont be a value addition.

Since you have already invested 4 year in B.tech, you may require additional one year for preparation for MBBS PMT and then nearly 6 year in MBBS.

Your 4 year of b.tech wont be useful if you go for MBBS.

Kindly ponder over this and make a informed choice.

If you think that you must necessarily gain experience in your field of work than you must take up a job now.If you think that an M.Tech will give you a better exposure then you must opt for that.
You can even choose to opt for an MBA which is completely unrelated to civil engineering if you are bored with civil engineering and its subjects.
The exam you will have to give for M.Tech is the GATE and that for an MBA is the GMAT.
