I want the new tcs sample paper with new pattern

hello guys...yes the pattern is changed...
its online test...
35 qestions in 1 hour
1/3 -ve mark...
they gonna test your time management
most of the questions(30)will be aptitude n logical only
you may get 1 0r 2 verbal--synonyms
the questions usually containing unwanted details(u could waste mor time on that)
questions on nmbers were also there.....
keep in mind manage the time...atleast read all questions once...

friends today (14.07.2010) i had attend the tcs interview. Totally they changed the pattern. now they conducting only for apptitude question no verbal or critical resoning. only one section contains 35 question with negative marks. duration is 60 min.

TCS has changed its pattern of exam.
Paper contain only aptitude but their is no verbal,no reasoning.
Their is negative marking for each negative answers i.e for each negative 1/3 of the marks of that question will be deducted from your total marks.
So don't go for wrong answer and work hard for it

you concentrate about normal apptitude test pattern,
barrons books,these books were help you alot,
english,math,apptitude are mainly comes in your exam, can be tough for everyone.

The new pattern consists of 35 questions.. with negative marks..

The off campus drive is taking place in Vel TEch college. ( Chennai )

guys.. i attended the TCS placement program on 15 of august ... guys.. i must say.. the basic catch for this particular exam is the time management.. and of course do not rely on the previous years placement papers..as some might get 1 or 2 questions from the previous years .. but not all or in bulky amount .. as TCS has changed the question pattern and no further direct questions from barron's GRE...

this software based interactive test had questions which were based on the R.S Agarwal QA book (most of them).. while others were conceptually based on the barron's GRE book 12th edition .. (quantitative section..)..
although there were 35 quantitative questions for 1 hour but one or two questions may be like from general english or general knowledge(might say).. like:" rearrange this and tell me the category- "RAPAETEKE"( DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY) a) animal b)bird c)vegetable d).."

most of the questions were paragraph lengthy... but the answers were like in the last line or so.. .. but mind you.. not in all the cases.. this is what i did.. reading from the job forums like this..however .. start reading the lengthy questions from last .. what does it ask.. like if it ask for the speed.. search for the line containing distance .. time... average speed.. etc... don't concentrate on the other data..
while with others where you might confuse with lengthy questions or fake lengthy questions .. which may require you to read the full complete thing in order to solve.. however prior is much more efficient...

one most important thing that you might all people face in this test is the severe level of frustration when you see your clock running out of time.. i would just suggest you all that .. just keep yourself calm.. so that you all do not forget the formulas or the methods in this frustration.. do question with full concentration but as fast as possible .. and do not uselessly attempt the questions that you are not sure of .. or you don't know.. there is anegative marking too.. ( correct 1... wrong -.33)..

software was like user friendly and there were just one question at once for this test .. however you can switch back to the any question at any point either attempted or unattempted..
do not leave any section of R.S. Aggarwal .. as all questions were solved examples based.. not so tough ..at least solve the solved examples of all the main chapters plus .. chapters like probability.. pipes and cisterns..chain rule ...percentage.. numbers(prime numbers... etc)..

total questions: 35 (quantitative)
total time: 1hr

the previous papers wont help you much... what i personally suggest you is that.. go through the R.S Aggarwal.. at least the solved examples.. i m sure if u follow this u will have success.. as the pattern has completely... i repeat "completely changed"..
i m saying all this becoz i took the test on 15 of august ..

The only solution to crack the TCS exam is to solve the aptitude of R.S Aggarwal.

Also solve the previous papers along with the GRE baron's books exercise books..

Anyone here who wrote the exams of SHREDSKERALA, please help me.
I was confirmed for the TCS test on 28th August as per the Confirm Status in Shreds website. The Test is actually taking place on 27, 28 and 29 August. But when I got the hall ticket, the date given in that is 27th. Is there any chance to change the date to 28th?

Also, what about the rounds according to the new pattern.
1st round - 1 hour Online Aptitude test with 35 questions
2nd round - Technical and HR round together??? OR Is It done as seperate rounds?

I believe there is no G.D according to the new pattern? Please help guys.

1st round - 1 hour Online Aptitude test with 35 questions
2nd round - Technical and HR round together.

Also there is no GD.
And its only difficult to clear the 1st round. In 2nd round u have to answer only from some basics of c, c++ and from ur area of interest. Its simple guys be cooooool........

ans:white
4.megnisium wire volume is 3m^3 and thick ness is 4mm............like they gave nearly 7 lines of qn and at last it has 4v and 6amp currnt then what was the resistance
ans:neglect all the first part ans is simple resistence=v/amp

Go through the basics/fundamentals of R.S.Agarwal, but the questions are too lengthy(max 8 to 10 lines) just to deviate/confuse but the exact question will be at last 2 or 3 lines. Try to study and understand the question within 15 seconds, you can solve it very easily. Remember that negative marking is there so better if you dont know the exact answer please skip and moreover time management is very important so if are not in a position to0 understand or solving the problem skip it and try next problem ok. Attempt only if you are confident. All the best.

can any one attend in bangalore which held on 14-15 aug 2010 because i cleared written and i gave a tech(intrw) and followed by a gd. so for no result from them but they conduct gd only for few people but not for all that to it only for formality. plse post ur response here

can any one tell me in cochin after technical thy conduct hr for all or only few people,
