Question pattern is almost same a varbal portion,quentative aptitude and analytical reasoning...
But the online process is new...

the format of TCS is not new,
but the questions which used to come earlier were from GRE BARRON.
this time also there is are 3 sections:
english
maths
aptitude

The question paper consists of English,Maths,Aptitude.

Previous year question papers may not come for the exam but the pattern is still the same and the syllabus is not yet changed.

Since the test is online you have to complete the test within 35 questions within 1 hour.
The questions are equally split and there is even negative marking i.e -0.33 for the wrong answer.

How much time tcs take to call for test , after applying on tcs site in careers. i m 2008 pass out mechanical.

there is no change in pattern ,
there is are 3 sections:

english
maths
aptitude
but the questions pattern only changed compare to old one

TCS has done it now,

they have changed the exam pattern a bit.

usually before question are used to come from GRE BARRON books.

this year they have made a bit tougher

they have concentrated more on English and Maths part.

english
maths
aptitude

but the questions are not so different You can refer the previous year paper also . But the questions are little difficult so better prepairation is required.

they want to test your time management
most of the questions(30)will be aptitude and logical only
you may get 1 0r 2 verbal--synonyms
the questions usually containing unwanted details(u could waste mor time on that)
questions on numbers were also there.....
keep in mind manage the time...atleast read all questions once...

Yes, you are right, TCS has adopted a new exam pattern. It is now taking an online aptitude test.

The test consists of 2 sections (earlier it consisted of 3 sections):
quantitative aptitude
verbal aptitude

There is also a negative marking of about 1/3rd .

To prepare for TCS exam you should refer these books:
quantitative aptitude - r.s.agarwal
verbal & non verbal reasoning - r.s.agarwal
english - GRE Barrons 12th edison

TCS latest pattern is online written test, technical interview and HR interview

in written exam, aptitude and some puzzles will be there. dont worry before online exam you have to be write online sample test. maximum question will be come from sample papers. same questions but values will be change.

here i will post some questions prepare well. but in tcs online test cut off is there. in test if you know answer confidently then only you have to answer.

Time : 60 minutes
Questions: 35 questions
Negative Marking: 0.33 marks
No Sectional Cut Offs (No sections)

Students need to brush up 10th and 12th mathematics.
Note, No English questions like Synonyms , Antonyms etc..
prepare previous Q papers well.. for TCS model papers and for those who got more than 70% in 10th 12th and B.E had direct interview with out apti and those who got more than 60% has to go through apti..and any further info regarding TCS or any other company mail me @ [email protected] wil try my best to giv info..

Attached some of the previous year question paper pattern of TCS and in that check out the doc file which as 451 questions thats the pattern which TCS follows to ask 35 questions... i guess by now you must have register yourself in openseesame portal of TCS just attend the mock test without fail you will get many type of questions which is asked from that test...
