you will easily grasp everything as you had already studied Physics and chemistry of 11th and 12th standard and your base will also be strong if you do engineering after 12th.course after 10th its a bit more practical approach than those who go through Intermediate, ull be a step forward .The most of the diploma courses have a further extension in Engineering which can help a lot .The only problem here is that they lack a good basics in Mathematics and computer aided subjects which will be present in engineering.

I personally think that one should complete his 10(+2) first and then go for engineering.

That will do much better for you.

10+2 is a class of making ur base by strengthening ur fundamentals
In diploma students feel the lack for knowledge of 12th subjects like physics, chemistry, maths.

Although diploma students can pursue graduation degree by lateral admission in degree colleges, they can't avail the big opportunities like the B.Tech engineers do.

Moreover,the top companies always prefer the degree students rather than diploma holders.

So,there is many different factors that affects only diploma holders than the degree holders.

The rest you are the one to decide.

a btech graduate has more preference than diploma in respect of everything from post to degree.
i think in today's arena engineers have better chance of survival compared to other department becoz first u can go for job or u can become an enterprenuer
in ur future.

Good to know you want to do engineering. Well if you are so determined to do engg. then i suggest that you complete your class 12 n then go for engineering entrance examinations.
In that way you will not have problems in placement in companies as there are many companies who do not give preference to engineers through diploma.
also plus 2 develops the aptitude for engineering more than diploma can.

after 10th u can take admission in diploma course in any branch

After 12th u can take admission in B.Tech,B.Sc etc

if u have interested in Engineering,u can sit in Poly-technique examination after 10th

otherwise,after 12th u can sit in AIEEE,WBJEE, or can get admission B,Sc in college directly,as u can admit after B.Sc

for knowledge i think after 12th u can take admission in engineering
if u have proper knowledge on ur subjects ,then no problem in campusing

Yes you can o for the Engineering after completing your +2,it would be a better option for you.

Apart from this you can also go for the other degree courses such as BSc ,BCA,BBA etc...........

Engineering is a 4 years courses and a technical courses whereas Diploma is 3 years courses and are less valuable then the engineering courses in respect of the jobs..

after 10th examination you can get admission in diploma .after completion of diploma you can go for bteh by giving lateral entry exam . you can directly get admission in btech 2nd year . those student who are coming from diploma side and after diploma he will completing btech are getting almost job which are getting regular btech student............diploma student will also get job from his diploma degree...........

u can opt for engineering field in two ways after class 10.

1. you can give the entrance exam for Diploma after class 10. .after that you can apply for lateral entry exams through which you will get admission in b.tech colleges.

2.you can also study 12th.
after that you have to give entrance exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE and many state university exams.

there is nothing like that engineering after 12th gets more preference.

both have equal status.

Ofcourse engineering after 12th will be good...because you need to study 12th which will make you fundamentally more strong and sound...so that you find engineering easier...but if you join it after 10th you may not be able to catch up with the heavy topics...and you may face difficulties in understanding certain technical topics...

Engineering after 12th standard will be better than engineering after 10th standard.
As you will pass 10+2 you will have more knowledge and would have more topics clear and other basics and it would be easy for you in the degree.
If you will go in engineering after 10th standard you will have to do diploma and then the degree.
If you pass 10+2 i.e. 11th and 12th standard you can opt for many competitive exams and can get admission in a good university.

Well both is good icase if you get good college for which you should score high marks in your competitive exam.
Its not thst degree after 10 or 12 is not.
Its the college from where you do is more important at this time as there innumerable colleges which are providing such degrees.
So you should not get trapeed in such colleges.
Doing 12 will always open doors for you to join differnt fields.
But once you go for engineering after 10 the doors for other fields will be closed.

12th is a better is a better option for engineering like b.tech and in 10th is a better option for diploma engineering and also you have a diploma degree so you have to admission in b.tech second year on the basis of lateral entry scheme.

If doing Engineering is your ultimate goal then go for Diploma.That will be the best option.On the other hand if you little doubt in your mind then go +2.There are several options after +2 in modern days.In case will do Diploma you to study hard in maths because in Engineering a tough maths come.Diploma student study easy maths than 10+1 or 10+2.

engineering after 12th will be the best because if you do diploma after 10th, then you will not be allowed to give iit exam. At that time you will have to take admission in a local college. And a diploma holder is not capable to get a good job. That,s why he have to do btech after diploma. So you must first complete your 12th class and after that think of btech

Firstly I want to tell you that you cant persue engineering after 10th class , but you can persue diploma at that level.
However, one can persue his engineering through any of the method, because after engineering no one will ask your pathway.
But if you ask which one is better then I rank both equal, but for the sake of those jobs which requires a diploma like TTA or other, i want to suggest you to go through diploma, as you can also get in engineering after your diploma but till then you will be awared of professional field of engineering.

It is a good option but you must do it from any reputed institution where there is surity of the placement some institute like iit, nits, and other deemed university the future is bright.

If you opt engineering from any other institute then it is total waste of money

For me doing engineering after 12 is a better option as the ladder should be climbed up with each step taken. It will not only provide strength to ur engineering base but will also help u getting god jobs ahead in future.

Diploma course- For me diploma course do have less importance than full time engineering course, as what is the need of 4 years engineering course if both of them are of equal importance. Diploma courses are just upper layer of engineering. It doesnot have that depth of knowledge.

in both the cases -when you complete your b.tech after 12 or complete b.tech after ten by diploma the value are same.
after 10 you it will take 6 years and after 12th it will need only 4 years to complete b.tech.
however b.tech is more valuable than diploma. so dont get confused . good luck

i would suggest you to take up 12th first,then go for engineering...it wil take a total of 6 years to complete your engineering including 11th and 12th standard...if you take up diploma ,then you wil have to spend another a year to complete your engineering..that is a total of 7 years....engineering is all about maths...basic knowlegde of maths is very important for an engineer...all the basic concepts wil b taught to you in your 11th and 12th...diploma people find mathematics very tough in engineering because they lack the basic knowledge of maths...

To do engineering after 12th is a better option,because after 12th you get chance to give entrance exam to get admission in various good colleges,like

IIT

BIT

NIT

And other good institutes.

After 10th you can just go for diploma not for a degree and today degree does matters more then the diploma..

reaching to the peak in either way are same.if it is from 12 or if it from 10 both are same.

after 10 you have to do diploma

and after 12 you have to do engineering.

but the thing is diploma holder will get job earlier but in less fashion.(means package or salary will be low). to boost your earning career you will do engineering in lateral entry scheme.

and after 12 you will directly go for engineering.

first student who chosen to go for diploma after 10 comes ,meets his friend in the same track after 3 years.

actually both are different.After 12th you can join B.Tech programme and after 10th you can only join diploma engineering.In the professional field they are create a difference.

according to job prospect diploma students are get jobs very first,but B.Tech students are taking time.

engineering after 12th is any day far better option than engineering after 10th. and student with be/btech degree will always be given preference over student of diploma.

Its always the best to do your 11ht & 12th instead of going for diploma becuse that makes gives the concepts better... try taking the combination that helps you in engg.

Its good to do engineering after 12th because if we see the current job needs most of the jobs are available on 12th basis and graduation. There are few jobs are left for the 10th and diploma holders. So if you do 12th and then engineering then there are more job opportunities available for you in comparison to 10th and diploma.

So according to my suggestion 10+2 and then engineering is the best option for you. But keep one thing in mind that if you have any interest in diploma then go ahead for that because without interest you can't be successful.

But according to today's market demand the basic requirement is 10+2. So go ahead for that which you like most.

No, engg. after 10th is not so good,because there are very few college which take admission on the diploma basis and good colleges just like iit and nit will never give you the chence for B.Tech after diploma.

if you want to do engineering(B.E or B.Tech) then obviously you have to go after 12th. only 12th pass candidates are eligible for this course. but if you want to do diploma in engineering then you may go after 10th or 12th. but i think it's better to go after 12th. if you go after 12th your performance will be very good in diploma study. and you may get preference at the time of job selection. but you have study in science 12th. if you want to study arts in 12th and after that you want to take admission in diploma engineering then i think after 10th is good. arts knowledge of 12th will not be helpful for diploma study.

If someone is going for B.Tech/B.E. after 10th then also it will take 6 years to complete it and 7 years if someone is droping a year after Diploma for performing well in entrance.

Similarly if someone is going through 12th then also it will take 6 years to complete it and 7 years if someone is droping a year for performing well in entrance.

But students who are going through Diploma faces problem because they can not Appear for GATE (http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2010_...ligibility.php). Besides these various types of International scholarship etc. has eligibility criteria such that having no +2 can not get them so.
