I wanted to enquire about the registration of CA CPT course. Actually i had downloaded the form from internet and sent it to ICAI,Delhi in the month of february 2012 with a draft of 6100/-rs. trough speedpost and till march 14,2012 i had not got any information about its registration and hadn't received the books for CA CPT course till now. So,please can you tell me what to do about it and from where to enquire about its registration.

I have filled my online form on 29th feb 2012 and registered it on 2nd march but I have not recieved any reply for my books till today dated 27th march 2012 as the payment was done online through Master card.I request you to please clear my doubts and let me know what to do further for my books.

As this is first time takint the CPT by online want to know complete procedure and details

online CPT exam is just approching to u,study hard & increase ur confidence
Online Registration of Examination will according to the following dates:
1. 18th and 19th September, 2010
2. 23rd and 24th October, 2010

the examination will be on::

1: Fundamentals of Accounting
2: Mercantile Laws
3:General Economics
4:Quantitative Aptitude

Hai,
For registering CPT exam you have two choices in a year i.e june and december.

You can register in online the registration fee is 100Rs only and the examination fee is 500Rs only. A total of 600Rs is charged for you.

After 12th standard you are eligible to apply CPT exam.
The examination is held by two sessions one is morning and second one is afternoon.

The morning session is from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the afternoon session starts from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM.

Important Dates of CPT:

Common Proficiency Test application form will also be available in the Regional and Branch Offices of the Institute and can be obtained there from on cash payment on or from 7th October, 2013.

Applications received after 28th October, 2013.

Common Proficiency Test will be held on Sunday, 15th December, 2013.

First Session
(i.e. Morning Session)

Next CPT exams would be held in December 2013
Forms for this exam would be filled in October 2013

Candidates who have appeared in class 12th exam or have passed class 12th exam can apply

In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General Economics
Quantitative Aptitude

All the questions are asked in objective mode only
Candidates scoring minimum 50% marks are declared as pass
There are negative markings of .25 for each incorrect answer.
