Re: Can I study Mtech in different branch than Btech?
Hi
Yes you can change your branch but you have to prepaired yourself according to that subject. but there is restriction also you can only choose those trades those related to your trade in B.tech It ll be better for you to continue in that trades .. as you are comfertable with that subject till 4 years. if not then you can change it. Good Luck for ur future.... |

Re: Can I study Mtech in different branch than Btech?
No friend your master degree in engineering should be relevant to your B.Tech degree you can't change your stream while stepping towards M.Tech from Btech.
How can you master in a subject in about which you have no certified knowledge. So choose the branch that is relevant to your degree. There is no other way out. thanks |

Re: Can I study Mtech in different branch than Btech?
dear friend
no you can't do master degree through other stream than the b.tech how can a student become the master of that subject which he\she didn't study before. you must do master degree in your relevant stream which is in your b.tech best of luck |

Re: Can I study Mtech in different branch than Btech?
At first tell me abt yourself what you actually likes to do.....what you are doing right know....?? BE in electronics and communication both streams are good and its depend on you and your interest , capability and CONFIDENCE that defines your job position.....your 2nd question is ambiguous regarding field related job....know talking about the list of exam 4 MBA entrance in Mumbai are MHCET, CAT, NIMS, JMET and some college prefer their own entrance exam besides the mentioned exams like ITM Navi Mumbai, WE School....know talking abt which stream is better.....both MBA and MTech are good.....but MBA is an additive advantage for a person bcoz its a management programme which actually let you know about the real corporate world and keeps you up2dated and for MBA entrant you should have completed or in the final year of your graduate college and that to from a recognized university.....!!

Re: Can I study Mtech in different branch than Btech?
Yes u can apply for different branch in M-tech as compared to B-tech. Only u need to fulfill the criteria required for the applied branch. To get admitted into any branch , u need to clear the minimum cut off mark required by the specified branch ..Other details will be available in the following site

Re: Can I study Mtech in different branch than Btech?
Hello,
I am an M.Tech myself and as far as I know, the M.Tech branch should be relevant to the B.Tech branch that you are doing. If the M.Tech that you are doing is purely related to the computer science genre, then you must have done either a B.Tech in IT or computer science or relevant subject or you can also go for an initial B.Sc. in any subject and then a corresponding MCA. If your B.Tech is in pure engineering genre like civil or electrical or others, then M.Tech in the respective genre can only be done. Also for M.Tech in VLSI, B.Tech degree or B.Sc. and subsequent M.Sc. degree in computer science or Electronics will suffice. This rule will go likewise for other B.Tech subjects also. |
