Hi I m a student of Btech final Year (Information Technology). I am the topper of it branch with
73.1% in first sem (NO back & no grace)
71.1% in second sem (no back but grace of 3 marks in maths)
72% in third sem ( NO back & no grace)
75% in fourth sem( no back & no grace)
73% in third year (no back & no grace)
70% in fourth year( no back & no grace)
73% in 10th
59% in 12th
please help me by knowing me that whether I will face any problem during job placement.

hi i hv scored 87% in 10th class , 71% in 12th class, and my final year b.e percentage 60.86% but final year aggregate is less than 60% which companies do i apply........

Hi dear,

As per your marks in your education qualification, the marks of +2 will create problem for you.
Because most of the well known companies put criteria for recruitment that a candidate must have 60% marks aggregate.
And such well known companies are:
TCS,Infosys,Wipro,IBM,Satyam,Accenture etc.

But some other companies which is not well known but don't put any criteria of marks for freshers, some companies are: Assergent,Synergy,Organic s/w etc.

you can apply in these companies, & better for you to join any consultancies as well as send your resume to the following job seeking websites which are:
www.naukri.com
www.freshersworld.com
www.monesterindia.com etc

the websites will alert you as per companies requirements.

But you should have these criteria to appear for these examination :

1.you must have 60 to 70% marks throughout your academic career

sorry you are not eligible for ibm
but after taking experience from small companies ,then you can go for most of the mnc companies.

i.e over all 60% in academic career
no backlogs
max 1year gap is allowed.

congrates you are eligible for most of the companies, the process is you can direct apply for any company where there is a off campus.

many companies will not allow you , if you are not placed in any company then my advice is -you first work in a small company around 2or 3years, and then apply for a big company , then you can easily placed, because after three years you have an experience of 3 years.

You can be placed in I.T companies but the problem you have is with your HSC marks which is below 60%.
But there are companies that come for recruitment which are no criteria where you can try.Some companies if you request may also allow you.Since you are currently pursuing Btech there will be lot of companies that will come to your college for recruitment if your institution is a good one.You can register on naukri.com, monster.com,timesjobs.com..but this all you can try after completing your BTech
So all the best and don't lose hope.

If you are a fresher and you want to be placed in TCS then you have to go through the foolowing procedure
1] Aptitude test
2] Technical interview
3]H.R interview
You should know C/C++ languages. If you don't know them then start preparing them.
For aptitude test refer previous years TCS papers and R.S agarwal

Though you have good percentage in Btech you won't be able to get placed in some highly reputed I.T companies , the reason for this is your 12 STD marks which are below 60%.
But don't worry you will get placed but don't get disappointed if you are not able to be placed in some reputed companies.
Since as a fresher don't think how much money the company is giving you.Work for 1-2 yrs ,take experience and then you can switch your job and you can get placed later in good firms.

If you are looking for better career and good pay pocket then go for pvt.companies like

HCL, WIPRO, INFOSYS, SATYAM, TCS, COGNIZANT

But before that, it is vital you should possess additional qualification like certification course, or some new software, programming like that, which will make you stand out in a group.

the software companies which are generally come for campus placement have some criteria...

the criteria is you must have 60% marks throughout your career..

As you have got less than 60% marks in your 12th, so it will create lot of problem for getting placed in good companies..

you r not eligible for on campus placement..

the name of some companies which are generally come for campus placement- TCS,INFOSYS,IBM,WIPRO,CTS etc..

you can continue your study , and after completion of your Mtech or MBA with good percentage of marks , then you can get good job ....

so, my suggestion is go for higher study..
