Re: MBA or M.Tech After Computer Science Engineering?
Well dear list is big one without knowing the stream of engineering.
Which MBA specialization is better for an Engineering Graduate depends upon the branch of engineering he/she had graduated from. Each engineering has its own requirement for management purposes. However, in general terms if we list for MBA specializations for MBA graduates, we can discuss the things like this. MBA specializations which are largely opted by Engineers MBA - Production Management: Generally opted by Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, etc. engineers. Its for core areas where factory, manufacturing, industrial has greater involvement. MBA - Marketing Management: Suites any Engineer, mainly involves Marketing of products and promotions. MBA - General , no specialization: As it is open for all. Branch, stream doesn't matters. MBA Supply Chain Management: Generally opted by Industrial, MAterial, Glass and Ceremics etc. engineers. MBA Construction Management: Mainly opted by Civil or Construction Engineers and Architects and Planners. MBA IT/System Management: Generally opted by IT, CS, ECE, ETC, EEE, etc. engineers. MBA Human Resources Management: For all but generally opted by IT, CS and Electronics engineers. MBA Packing: Mainly opted by packaging, Materials and Food Technology engineers. MBA Finance Management: Opted by some silly type of engineers who no longer wants to be an engineer but a bank manger. MBA Food Processing and management: As its sounds opted by Food Technology engineers. ETC>>>> |

Re: MBA or M.Tech After Computer Science Engineering?
dear friend
After completing your engineering course, you can choose courses according to your interest. Because there is no need to comparing M.Tech Vs MBA or so, because both the courses are different and have different jobs and placements scope. So, after completing engineering MBA and M.tech both are good courses to make your career bright. If you can manage the other field and you can cover it easily, then MBA is best field and finance and marketing are the best specilisation. So, i will suggest you, just choose specilisation and field according to your personal interest. So, that you can not face any problem after opting the course. So, both field are good, choose according to your personal interest and definately you will get sucess one day. good luck. |

Re: MBA or M.Tech After Computer Science Engineering?
after B.TECH. you preparation of gate exam m.tech. because you passed b.tech. . so after m.tech your intelligence is increase and you easily get job on good payment and you also job found out in ISRO.
but you choose M.B.A. line then you mind is change because you passed b.tech and m.b.a. . the m.b.a. line is completely change. you get success in m.b.a. difficult. so my advice iv that you prepare for m.tech. |

Re: MBA or M.Tech After Computer Science Engineering?
Hello ,
All depends on your interest and capability . If you are interested to work with your field then you must do Mtech. specially if you want to do research oriented jobs, then MTech is compulsory. but if you are not interested to work in your engineering field, then it is essential to do MBA. All the best on your choice !! |

Quote:
Had you been from some other genre I would have advised something else for you but since you are from CSE or computer science engineering, I would rather suggest you to go for MBA rather than anything else. MBA is a very powerful genre from knowledge and salary point of view. If you have any special interest towards any other genre, then the thing is different. But if you want to choose the best one, then MBA is the one. If you have score more than 50% in your B.Tech. After that take up application forms for CAT or XAT or OPENMAT or any other well accepted MBA entrance examination. These entrance examinations normally cover subjects like data interpretation, analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, English etc. Prepare on them and get a clear score in the test. After that apply in any MBA institute with that score. All the Best. |
