Scope of pharmacology in India is very limited with respect to pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical chemistry, but its scope in western countries are quite good, they have a post of clinical pharmacologist / pharmacist in practitioner's clinic.

i've completed my b.pharm just a few months ago. i'm gpat qualified candidate. i;m confused about the choosing of subject in m.pharm. Should i go to pharmaceutics or pharmacology. plz reply as soon as possible.

now a days clinical research jobs have a good prospect, it is a study about study of drugs before coming in the market. and there are bilions of doller is required for this porpuse. this study is performed so many hospitals in this world.
this study is based on four phage like-
stage-1
stage-2
stage-3
stage-4

after completion completion of this stage any new drug can comes into the market. and in this field there have a great job opportunity.

both are the field are important and have better career option so first u make up ur mind for in which field u wanna make career. if u want ur career in the pharmaceutical production or industry u have to do m pharma and if u wanna make career in managment u have to do MBA.

in my opinion msc pharmcology is best form AIIMS.

look all the brances have their own importance so first make up ur mind in which subject or branch u have more intreste and in which field u want make career. in clinical or pre clinical do pharmcolgy, for QC/QA do QA branch, for
R& D go for analysis and med chemisry, etc.

so first go through ur intrest

in which field u have more intrested u have to do m pharma in that branch. if u have not intrested in particular field and do m pharma in that branch u did not get ur position at the end of ur career. so first go for ur intested sub. all branch are good enough.
