Availability of Application Form -3rd week of February to 2nd week of March, 2011.
Last Date for request of form by post-4th week of February, 2012 Last Date of Submission of completed application form: 3rd week of March, 2012. Date of UPTU Examination: 3rd week of April, 2012. As far as iam concerned the application forms are generally available in all Head Post Offices of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Nainital and Dehradun.The form can also be obtained by post from UPTU by sending a DD along with the request for form.

Though the dates for UPTU application forms have not been announced yet but the likely dates are:-

Availability of Application Form -3rd week of February to 2nd week of March, 2011.

GATE( Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ) is conducted by GATE Committee comprising faculty from IISc, Bangalore and All IITs for admission in Graduate Course in IISc Bangalore and IIT's and other colleges

Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelor's in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/Pharmacy and those who are in the final
Master's in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications and those who are in the final
Note : Students in prefinal years are not Eligible For GATE 2012.

Exam Pattern:
The GATE examination consists of a single paper of 3 hours duration
It consists of 65 questions .
Question paper will be of objective types only .
Negative marking for each wrong answer.
Each GATE paper will consists of General Aptitude .
There is no age limit

Score card Validity

The GATE score is valid for two years from the year one crack the test

Last date for the receipt of ONLINE Application : 24 October 2011
