HI! pooja yes u can join indian army by passing NDA exams and their are many opportunities for girls in indian army like in Rani laxmibai regiment and if u have NCC (C) certificate,its more helpful. u must be physically strong ,because Ist test u must pass physical test then u can appear for written test and interviews.

oh.i am also interested to join army but now from some problems i didnt qualified because of my site.now the applications are available for nda(national defence acadamy),you should apply to that one

there is very less number of post in indian army or the girls candidate,however you can join indian army by the giving the exam of cds organised by upsc.

you can join the army in many ways,
1.through writing cds(combined defence services) which will be held on 15th february 2010.
2.through military engineering services who are constantly recruiting fresh graduates from engineering colleges.
3. Also there are various ssc exams
but let me tell one thing ,to get to the army you not only have to clear the written tests and interviews but also the physical fitness test which is quite demanding,so be prepared physically as well

Yes you can join indian army through exam like SSC,CDS and if you belong to science stream then you van apply for NDA also.

hello friend,according to my openion if you are in 12th then attain nda exam.if you if you completed graduation then you attain upsc exam through which you can get chance in indian army...

dear friend,
you can join Indian army while doing 12th by appearing NDA in 12th exam if your age is below 19 years only male candidates can appear in this.
and you can also give UES(University entry scheme) while you are in 3rd or 4th year of your engineering degree.
or you can give exam like BDS.

as you have completed your graduation so you can join the indian army by the following ways
1)you can get into it by giving NDA exam till the age of 19 1/2 yrs.
2)if you have scored nore than 75% in PCM in 12th then you can apply for technical entry scheme.
3)you can give CDS exam after completing your graduation.

you can appear for CDS EXAM conducted by upsc(www.upsc.gov)

Hi, I dont think so, An option available to fill the CDS Applicaiotn form online. Do check with the UPSC website. But, sure. to my knowledge, you need to buy the application form hardcopy to apply for the Examination.

Hi, Nowadays Entry for Female officers into Indian defence system is not so tough. In fact, The Female officers are welcomed. You can take the technical entry scheme which you can check directly in the concerned wing website of the defence.

You can consider the UES(Universal Entry scheme) of which, the notification appears in the Employment news. It is considered to be the fast entry into defence. You better keep watching the Employment news paper for more details.
There are other entries like CDS conducted by UPSC, SSC entry etc. Check for the same.

Hi, Please furnish your eduation and age details to suggest you.To join NDA, You need to have completed +2 with good score. Should have age less than 19 years.
You need to write the NDA Examination conducted by UPSC twice every year. You should hold more than 60 percentage in +2 to be eligible to write this examination. Do check the official UPSC website: http://www.upsc.gov.in/ for more details.

Hi, Sorry. You are not eligible to join indian Army as you have run out of Upper age Limit, which is 22 years for +2.
