Re: when is the TNPSC Group IV exam?
Hai,
Already the TNPSC group 2 exams are over but here the detailed information about TNPSC group 2 exam: TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has over the years conducted various examinations to select candidates to serve in various posts in the governmental sector of Tamil Nadu which also includes the State, Subordinate and Ministerial Services. TNPSC has two basic types of recruitment-Direct recruitment and Indirect recruitment. Out of them the Combined Subordinate Services Examination –I (CSSE-I) is for direct recruitment in a variety of services under the Tamil Nadu Government. The exams have several groups and each group is for applying to a different hierarchy of posts in the government sector. There are basically four groups namely Group 1,2,3 and 4 and each group corresponds to a different set of posts in the hierarchy of the government. TNPSC group 4 exam is a direct recruitment exam which consists of one stage only. It has only a main examination and candidates need to qualify in this exam to be eligible for the job. The Group 4 exam is a bit simpler than the previous groups and stresses mainly on general knowledge and English. Students just need to know all the current affairs and Basic English to crack this exam. Although many students apply for this group 4 exam it has remained onstage exam. Group 4 exams correspond to the lower hierarchy of posts in the government sector. These are mainly posts of typists, peons and stenos. For this reason group 4 exams is a direct recruitment procedure. The paper pattern and the questions of this exam are quite simple and it usually does not require any skill from the part of the candidates. In spite of being a lower group the group 4 exam draws a lot of applications every year and its results are also declared quicker than the other groups. |
