Re: Selection Criteria for TCS exam?
Hi dear,
The minimum eligiblity for a fresher is:- 1.)need to have consistence 60% from 10th,12th and B.tech.. 2.)Should not have more than 2years Education Gap.... but in your 12th class your having less than 60% so you may not be eligible but since it is only 1% and if you did in C.B.S.E then you will get 5% concession so no need to worry and definitely you can sit in exam. Thanks |

Re: Selection Criteria for TCS exam?
Hey it depends upon the cut off limit,if they specify that you need 60% in all streams of courses then your not eligible for TCS.Many of the MNC's prefer graduates above 60% in all the fields but there are some MNC's which offer just 55% in 10th and 12th and 60% in the B.E stream.
So just try to go through those MNC's which offer 55% as cut off and then go for higher companies having an experience certificate in hand. all the best |

Friends please tell me whether i am eligible for tcs or not... I am a third year student..doing b.tech in CSE.. I have 80% in 10th nd 58% in 12th (overall) and 64.7% (in best of 4) and in b.tech i have 7.6 .. i dont have any gap in my academic carreer and my college has a good tie up with tcs.. I am pretty sure i can get through the rounds.. but i am confused what to consider in my cv.. the best of 4 marks in 12th or the overall..because since i have given my 12th from ISC board.. they consider the best of 4 marks.. so friends please help me out here.. i really want to sit for the exam.. |

Re: Selection Criteria for TCS exam?
Hi,
TCS – Tata Consultancy services is one of the top IT companies. TCS recruits fresh candidates through an entrance exam, for which only eligible candidates can apply. Eligibility to sit for TCS recruitments – Candidate should have secured 60% aggregate marks in 10th, 12th and B.tech / B.E. There should be not have more than 2 years gap in their academic career. Stages of the recruitment – 1. Written test 2. Technical Interview 3. HR Round So, it is very less likely that you may be allowed to sit for the recruitment in TCS, because of less percentage in 12th. |
