i appeared for ota cds 1 2012 i ll get 45 in gk and 70 in english is this marks are i nuf to get qualify for ssb plz let me know

i hv appeared for cds I exam 2012 in feb.....my 1st preference was ima followed by ota bt i cudnt appear for the maths exam....i hv done pretty well in english and gk...will i still be called for an interview for ota????

i have scored 45 gk, 95 eng, 70 maths..in cds 2012. Is there any chance for getting a call for ssb..?

answers in answer keys are not correct in all cases.....i appeared in CDS 1 2012 ...in eng around 80 ques are correct and in gk 42 ques are correct after negative marking i am getting marks btw 85 to 90 out of 200...can any one tell me what are my chances?????

i got 60 in english 35 in gk and 25 in maths in there any chance of clearing cds exam?

FRIEND,

You must score at least 40% marks if you wanted to clear the cut off marks for the CDS exam.

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE EXAM IS:

1)You must have done graduation or in the final year of graduation in any field from any recognixed University.

2)If you wanted to join INDIAN AIR FORCE or INDIA NAVY then you must be in the engineering or must have taken PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS in the 12th class Level.

3)Age Eligiblity for CDS Examination :

* For IMA : 19 to 24 Years
* For OTA : 19 to 25 years
* For Naval : 19 to 22 years
* For Air Force : 19 to 23 years.

4)You must be an INDIAN CITIZEN.

THE SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

English 100 marks
General Knowledge 100 Marks
Elementary Mathematics 100 Marks

->Elementary mathematics is not for the OTA students.


The Academies for which the exam is conducted is:

* Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
* Naval Academy, Goa
* Air Force Academy, Begumpet, Hyderabad
* Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai

The IMPORTANT DATES OF THE EXAM ARE:

C.D.S. EXAM.(I), 2012

* Date of Notification:29.10.2011
* Last date for receipt of applications: 28.11.2011
* Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 12.02.2012

C.D.S. EXAM.(II), 2012

* Date of Notification:02.06.2012.
* Last date for receipt of applications: 02.07.2012
* Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 16.09.2012

The entire information about exam is given bellow.
1. One Farm Super intendent in Farm Mach inery, Training and Testing Institute

1.Written examination as shown in Para 2 below.
2.Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ?B? of this Appendix)of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centres.

2. The subjects ofthe written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows:

(a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

3.The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questionsonly. The question papers (test book lets) of general knowledge and elementary mathematics will be set in bilingually in hindi as well as english.

4. In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.

5.Candidates must write the papers in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.

6. The Commission have discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination.

7.The candidates are not permitted to use calculator for answering objective type papers (Test Booklets).They should not there fore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

Sorry there is nothing like mentioned any relaxcation in result for sc/st student. so be prepaired mentally.

How much score is required to clear CDS exam?

Hello friend,its impossible to tell about the cut off marks before the exam results and then the merit list is declared by the authorities.

Because it varies from year to year and also based on following factors.

1 It depends on no.of candidates appeared for the test

2 It varies because of the highest marks gained by the candidates.

3 It varies depending upon the paas percentage.

4 It also depends on the requirements for the various posts.

The total marks is 300 if you got uptu 150 marks then maybe you should called for the next interview round according to sc category
