It depends on your background and company's work area.Depend on on which technology company works.But there are some basic things which for which company expect from you.

1.Basic programming skills

2.Good communication skills.

3.Deep knowledge in your favorite subject.

4.You should meet the min. criteria of marks,like every company have some min. criteria like infosys have 60% .

There are many companies like Infosys,TCS,Cognizant in international market.these companies give you a chance to go onsite(abroad).You will get a chance to earn a lot of money and experience.

The IT companies selects students on based on various criterion ,his criterion varies from company to company.Generally after clearing the written test they will call for Interview and after that final selection will be made.In the Interview they see---
1>How smart you are.
2>How is your communication skill.
3>Your appearance(Very Important).
4>Your Technical knowledge.
5>Your politeness.
6>Most important is your level of confidence.

latest pattern is:
Paper I: 200 marks: duration 2 hours:
This paper will cover subjects and topics like:
current national and international events,
economic and social development,
general science,
general issues on environment and ecology,
Indian politics and governance.


People II: 200 marks: duration 2 hours:
This paper will cover topics like:
comprehension,
personal skills,
logical reasoning,
decision-making and problem-solving,
data interpretation,
English-language skills.
This paper with consist of multiple-choice objective type questions.

After this, the main exam will have subject papers win which you will have to choose two subjects from:
psychology
mathematics.
economics.
hindi,
marathi,
history,
geography,
statistics,
social sciences,
physics,
chemistry, etc.

After this, a personal interview will be conducted.

i m studying 3rd bbm ca i ve a %of 10- 58% and 12-60% now i ve ly 56 % up to 5semester wat i do brothers

hello

The eligibility here as follows:

**if ur career is more than 75% u can appear direct P.I

1) candidate must secure 60 % marks throughout his academic life i.e 10th, 12th & graduation.

2)Not more than 2 years of gap in studies


3)The TCS aptitude test consists of following 3 sections:

-----english
----Verbal aptitude
-----quantitative aptitude
------reasoning

english:refer RS Agrawal

Verbal aptitude - This Test contains questions on Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion etc.

Aptitude Test - This test will consist of very general questions. Almost 70-80 % Questions will be repeated from the Previous TCS Papers

Reasoning - It is the toughest section. Here time management is very important.

i scored 57.6% in 10th (CBSE),78% in 12th nd 64% in b.tech...AM I ELIGIBLE FOR TCS ????

i have scored 77% in 10th and 87.6% in 12th. i scored 55.77 in one sem due to some illness. But in all other semesters i have a 63 score &my aggregate is 60% upto 3rd yr 1st sem btech...still am i not eligible..??
