Re: IAS exam after Btech in IT?
Yes. You are eligible to be placed in IAS after completion of B.Com course with 52% of marks.
IAS is the top most civil service in India which will recruit the candidates who are having intelligence. So, it is very difficult to be placed in IAS. But nothing is impossible. You have the chance to be placed in IAS if you put your best efforts towards preparing for this exam with proper planning. To be placed in IAS, you should have to crack civil services examination being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. The complete selection procedure for this is by -Civil Services Aptitude Test -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidate to take this exam is by completion of Graduation with any of the stream. As per this criteria, you are eligible to apply for this exam. As per required age criteria, -You should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this Exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. For this year, the civil services examination was already conducted. So, I suggest you to have good preparation for this exam for this year and appear for upcoming CSAT Exam. Take proper care while choosing Optional subjects. Prepare well for this exam and crack it. For any information regarding this exam, you can visit http://upsc.gov.in/ |

Re: IAS exam after Btech in IT?

Dear Aspirant, Yes you can appear for the IAS exam but actually it is not IAS exam.It is called as the CIVILs Exam. The exam is conducted by the UPSC Board of India. By which the candidates get the job in the govt sector. But you need to have a graduation if you want to become a IAS or IPS officer. So since you are in the final semester. You can apply for it.But only thing is you need to provide them the degree certificate when the necessary situation is occurred. The certificate is needed in the interview round so this round comes after the clearing of rounds like Prelims and Main exams. Then its compulsory to submit the certificate. If you fail to submit then you are rejected. So think while you apply for the Civils exams. Hope this info helps you. All the best for your future endeavor's. Any more Queries. Don't Hesitate to ask me. Am happy to help you always. Just ping to my profile. Best Regards, Sampath. |
