Details of Intelligence Bureau(IB) exam.................................

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 – 27 years as on last date for receipt of applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University, Knowledge of computers.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, written test.

The exam is held by SSC every year.
And those who are in the final year may also appear in the exam.

You can join IB by the following ways:
1. Indian Army: IB recruits officers through Indian defense services. they are inducted through the defense services who are already working in the army. For that, you need to be in the Indian army via NDA, CDSE or SSC and you can join IB after that.

2. Staff selection commission: There are recruitments by SSC also where you have to pass an exam and get into IB.

3. Direct recruitment: This comes by notification of the department or any ministry. The application procedure is to apply directly to the department or that ministry.

4. IPS: This is the Indian police services. The agents are also taken into services from civil services cadre i.e. the IPS. For this you need to clear the pre, mains and then the interview of civil services exam.

For this you have to clear civil service exam and then choose IPS cadre.
you should have to complete the entrance exam of board conducted by CBI.

The age of the candidate should not be more than 27 years.
