what is NCC certificate?

sir,i have passed my b.com this year.i am eager to join the indian army..
i don't have any NCC certificate..is it possible for me to join the indian army??and if yes,then kindly send me the exam dates..

Yes, you can join DEFENCE SECTOR after B.COM through Combine Defence Services exam.
C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass graduation with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

Yes it is possible for you to join in Indian Army without having NCC certificate. Your graduation is just enough for you to join in Indian Army. For doing that you must clear an exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission of India commonly called as UPSC.

The exam is named as CDS exam which can be expanded as Combined Defense Service exam. Through this exam not only army, you can enter into any of the defense services of India like Army, Navy or Air force. For appearing in this exam you must have some eligibility criteria. They are

1. You must be a citizen of India.
2. Your age must be above 19years and below 23years.
3. You must have completed your graduation of any discipline from a
recognized university of India.

Yes shore you are eligible to apply NDA exam having without NCC certificate.

NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in every year.

You should be apply either NDA-I or NDA-II in a year.
Eligibility criteria for the NDA exam:

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

You should be complete 10+2 from a recognised state board.

Age limits is 16 1/5years to 19years.

Candidate should be physically fit.

For this you can crack the CDS examination.
Eligibility criteria:

Candidate should be graduate from any recognised university.

Age should be 18years to 28years.

It depends on the cadre to which yo apply.
An officer cadre selection doesn't require an NCC certificate.It wud be advantageous if yo are an athlete and an optimistic person, so that you can react to any critical situation given to you at the time of interview.

Whereas a soldier cadre requires an NCC certificate(incase) as the other competetents are gonna be from almost all the states.

Indian Army can be joined by qualifying either NDA or CDS exam depending upon age and qualification.

CDS - Combined Defence Academy

The eligibility for CDS include -

Graduation from a recognised university.

Age --

For IMA - 19 years - 24 years
For Naval academy- 19years - 22years
For Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 years
For Air force academy - 19 years - 23 years.

Candidate should be medically fit

So,if you fulfill these conditions, you canapply for Indian Army.

It is not necessary that you cannot join Indian Army without NCC certificate.
You have to appear for CDS exam.After clearing the exam you can join Indian Army.
You should have scored minimum 60% in your class 12th.
And you should be physically and mentally fit also.
