Hi,

it is good to know that you are interested in indian army but still after

10th standard you are not eligible for it.so in order to join indian army

follow the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

Eligibility to join indian army:-

• first and foremost requirement to join indian army is that one should be an indian citizen.

• one should be at least 18 years and above to serve in any post of indian army.

• the education qualification to join any indian army commission should

be minimum of 10+2 which later includes graduation, post graduation and more.

10+2 (through nda):-

one has to take an entry level exam conducted by union public service

commission (upsc) to join nda (national defence academy). This exam is

conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout india.

Graduates (direct entry):-

the upsc holds an all-india competitive examination, known as the combined

defence services examination (cdse), twice a year for university graduates

or equivalent.

Engineering graduates (direct entry):-

an engineering graduate can join the indian military academy directly. They

only need to attend the service selection board interview. Age at the time

of joining should be between 20-27 years.students who are in final and pre-

final years of engineering degree course can also apply to indian army as an

officer. They are eligible for induction into technical branches/services

the army as commissioned officers under the university entry scheme. Age

should be between 19-25 years for final year engineering students.



Medical procedure:-

• medical fitness is one of the important requirements to join indian army.

• candidate would undergo thorough medical check up for qualifying any post of indian army.

offered by indian army while making a candidate to undertake medical checkup.

Procedure to apply for indian army :-

• one can apply for indian army by downloading the application form of

various posts via online http://joinindianarmy.nic.in/ you can find out the different
requirements to join indian army listed down in this link.

• you can also find the advertisements on employment news paper of

various vacant posts available at indian army.

• one can also check the aptitude by taking a online test on this website.

sorry friend, You can not be eligible for indian army, because you must pass 12th is minimum range for join army. so sorry.

Yes you can join the army.You will be selected as soldier.really you are great that you are interested in it .In this field actually india needs youngsters like you.Even they are getting handfull of salary.

Sorry to say , but you cannot join the Indian Army after class 10th.

The minimum educational qualification required is to 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks.

Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with no relaxation.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it.

Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

You want to join in Indian Army then you can go for it..
But after completion of 10th you will not be eligible to join in Indian Army in officer post..

For that you have to complete your 12th first..
After completion of 12th you will be able to appear in NDA exam.. Through NDA exam you can join in Army wing in officer post..

So, first try to complete your 12th with a good percentage of marks..

Age limits : 16 1/2 - 19 Yrs.(i.e Not before 1st July 1992 & Not born Earlier to 1st January 1995).

The candidate should have completed their 12th from a Recognized Board Or Equivalent Qualification.

You will have to complete 12th standard examination.
Then you will be eligible for NDA

Here are the details criteria for NDA examination.

NDA CRITERIA :

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate should complete 12th standard examination

2.Age limitation :
The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 to 19 years.

3.Nationality :
The candidate must be an Indian

4.Eyesight criteria :
Eyesight of the candidate must be 6/6.

5.Height criteria :
The height of the candidate should be minimum 165 cm.
