BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Application

It is happy to see that you are a BCA student,as like me.

This is a computer application course dealing with most of the softwares for developing a software and about the operating system concepts and many more.

This is a 3 years duration course and as you have asked for the information regarding the project for BCA during the last semester i.e 6th semester.

There are many options which you could opt but the problem is with what Front End and Back End are you going to use.

Regarding the Front End it describes about the design and how the page looks.o tell about the Back End it is where the data's are stored i.e it is the database for storing information.

You can use the softwares following softwares for doing the projects:

Front End:

VB
JAVA
ASP.NET
C#

Back End:

SQL Server
MS Access

You can choose any one front end and back end to do your project.You must about that software very well to help in improving the quality of the project.

There are few software which are preferred very much. Those are JAVA, ASP, .NET, CoalNET, PetriNET, etc. So you can choose to do a project in that genre. You can take up a system to showcase socket programming and use JAVA in that. You can take up a system to design a beautiful website to function on certain criteria and use .NET and some other software with that. You can take up networking projects and use CoalNET or PetriNET. Now the project title can only be given by your project guide. I have suggested you the genres that you can pick up and research in to create a project.
