No my friend you are not eligible for NDA exam as you have done 10th class ,to appear for NDA you have to be a 12th pass student.

As NDA exam is held twice a year.

Important Dates for NDA I Exam

Release of Notification: October, 2012
Last date of submission of application form: November, /2012
Date of Examination: April, 2013

Important dates for NDA II EXAM:

Release of Notification: April,2012
Last date of submission of application form: May, 2012
Date of Examination: August, 2012

Eligibility Criteria for NDA:

1.If you have cleared 10+2 can apply.
2.IF you had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force.
3.you must be bachelor .
4. You must be between16 1/2 to 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam
5.Non-permanent citizens of India are not allowed to apply

Pattern of the exam:

The exam is divided into two parts-mathematics (300 marks) and general ability (600marks) for two and a half hour. The candidates with good mathematical skill and with right confidence can easily qualify or the test.

Paper –I (mathematics)

Paper –II (general ability)

Part ‘A’ (English) – To test candidate’s knowledge in English

Part ‘B’ (general knowledge)- It is divided into part A- F and consist of physics, chemistry, history, general science, geography and current events.

starting from 10 th class to degree will be for qualification

and age limit from 19 to 24 years

Indian Navy organises tests in technical and non techinical wings (twice in a year)

You have to pass 12thstandard (maths as a compulsury subject and minimum of55%)

You have to be in 16 1/2 to 191/2 Age limit

You have to be an Indian and must be un-married

How To Join The Indian Army

Depending on your qualification and age..there are 2 ways in which you can enter the Indian Army :-

>> NDA(National Defence Academy)
>> CDS(Combined Defence Services)

To appear for the National Defence Academy(NDA) Exam..candidates must have following minimum qualifications :-

>> candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

>> candidate must also have completed 12th from a recognized board in any stream..

>> candidate must only be an unmarried male..

The NDA Exm is conducted in April and August..

In order to appear for the CDS Exam..candidate must satisfy following conditions :-

>> Candidate must have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized institute..

>> Candidate must also be within the age limit of 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy(IMA)

The CDS Exam is conducted in February as well as September..
