Answer:- Not an issues if you have completed intermediate with any subject except math, then you have to complete the CIC course for with BCA in IGNOU. If you have completed intermediate with math there are no need of CIC Course for doing BCA in IGNOU.

Can science student apply for BCA ?

Absolutely commerce students are eligible to do BCA and MCA. Even Arts students are eligible for the same.

Generally Mathematics is considered to be compulsory subject to get admission in BCA.

Education Qualification

Candidate should have scored at least 60% marks in 12th board.

The minimum education qualification required for the BCA course is 10+2.

Yes you are eligible for BCA , you can easily got admission in BCA ,
Math is only in 1st and 2nd semester of BCA and its not tough its a basic math which comes in BCA
There may no criteria for BCA you just need 12 pass out certificate for getting admission in BCA

The student should have minimum educational qualification of class XII from some recognised university.
The student should be able to complete his 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.
Most of the colleges require a student who had mathematics, physics, and chemistry in his class XII. While there are some who require its student to have English as one of the subjects in class XII.
There are some colleges who have some entrance exam for the students.
The student will be eligible to apply for the college only in the condition
when the student fulfils the minimum required marks in that entrance exam.

Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria there can be some more criteria which can be set by the universities.

The minimum marks secured in 12th standard should be at least 50%
The candidate should have pursued the science subjects. The science subjects should include Physics and Chemistry
