After eligible ugc net exam,if we applying the lecturer post in government college,defenitly will they give a job or not?

sir iam studying mba.. now in 3rd sem,.. did i am eligible to write NET exam? if i am eligible which subject i need to take as a optional subject? plz sir clear my doubt
