Re: Difference between CA after 12th and CA after B.Com?
*****--******** **** :-
Students who completed their 2 level and decided to do CA:- ** They have to face and crack the following zones to become CA . They are :-- a) CPT Common Profiency test .it consists of 200 marks . everyone must score 100/200 to continue CA . after that .. b) IPCC:- ** It is divided into two Groups Group 1 and Group 2 this is only theory part , but plenty of students are getting failed in this zone and there is another chance to appear . So be careful , After completing both groups .. c) Article ship :- ** It means working under chartered account to observe the working style and they offers you stifund based on your groups percentage .it is of 1 year, after this .. d) final exam :- **) This is the final test for everybody who completed article ship, one must crack this exam to become Chartered Accountant ... .... this is the procedure to become chartered accountant got it... Students who completed their B.com decided to do C.A *** They no need to appear in CPT exam , apart from this the remaining procedure is same as that I mentioned above ... |

Re: Difference between CA after 12th and CA after B.Com?
Chartered Accountancy is a dynamic, challenging and rewarding profession.here you can work as an C.A for any big and high company.CA course takes almost 3 to 4 year.CA has wide scope as compare to the Cs.I am not strictly saying that CS is not good. Both the courses have their own weightage. But now days in India as well as in abroad the demand of the CA is more.So if you join in the CA course then it will be more benefitial for you..
Basically CA completes in the following three stages:- 1. CA-CPT. 2. CA-IPCC. 2. CA- FINALS. CACPT can be done after completion of the +2.You have to appear in the entrance exam and crack it to go to the secomd stage.CPT Examination is objective type test comprising of 4 subjects which are: - (a) Fundamentals of Accounting – 60 marks, (b) Mercantile Laws – 40 marks, (c) General Economics – 50 marks and (d) Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks. IPCC can be done after successfuly completion of CPT.If you have not clear the CPT and want to appear in the IPCC examination than you must have a bachelor degree from a recognised university. If you are from the commerce field than you must have to attain 55% marks in aggregate to be eligible for this eaxm.Rest of the students have to score minimum 60% marks in aggregate to be eligible fot the CA-IPCC exam. =>IPCC SYLLABUS <= :Group-1: >paper-1-Accounting carries 100 marks,< >paper-2-Law,Ethics,Communication< part-1-Law carries 60 marks, Business law carries 30 marks, Company law carries 30 marks, part-2-Business ethics carries 20 marks, part-3-Business communication carries 20 marks, >paper 3-Cost accounting and financial management< part-1-Cost accounting carries 50 marks, part-2-Financial management carries 50 marks, >paper 4-Taxation< part-1:Income tax carries 50 marks, part2:Service tax carries 225 marks and VAT 25 marks. :Group-2: >paper-5 -Advanced accounting carries 100 marks,< >paper-6 - Auditing and Assurance carries 100 marks,< >paper-7 - Information technology and strategic management< part-1: Information technology carries 50 marks, part-2: Strategic management carries 50 marks , after passing the IPCC you are going to enter into the final course called ARTICLESHIP to write the articleship you should pass at least group-1 of IPCC and should have completed ITT of 100 hours. after the articleship you have to write the final course =>syllabus for the final course<= :Group-1:
So dear aspirant if you wish to go after your +2 than you have to appear in all three examinations/stages.Or if you do your bachelor degree first than you can skip the CPT examination and you will have to attain directly CA-IPCC examination. Regards, JSD |

Re: Difference between CA after 12th and CA after B.Com?
Hey. I came to Canada as an international student after completing my grade 12 in India. As now I am on work permit, I can't study because of the work permit rule. But I don't want to put gap in my education. I want to pursue CPA in Canada in future but to start my studies again, it might take me 2 years approx.
Therefore, I was wondering if I can still pursue CA in India by giving CPT exam and then moving further accordingly or do I compulsorily have to be in India to study CA. I mean I can come and give my exams there in India. Is it possible if I can study Indian CA while living in another country, and yes I am a citizen of India. Thank you! |
