To become a bank manager one needs to have the following qualification:-

he should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university

he should possess professional qualification like MBa, ICWAI, CA etc

he should be between 21-32 years of age.

He should also have experience of working in a bank for 2 years almost.

There is a relexation in upper age for OBC +3 Years and
For sc/st category +5 years.

Hi i am just completed my b.com(hons),ca(enter),cs(enter) and diploma in financial accounting from state govt computer center so can i apply for the bank manager post in any bank.My ca final and cs final is going to be completed in august 2013.pl z reply.

To become a manager in a bank then you have to sit for a p o exam conducted by different banks. Then when you get through then you will be appointed as p o and after two years you will confirmed as assistant manager. After that to reach the manager post you have to sit for internal exams which banks conducts every year ( individuals have to work for two years minimum to be eligible for the next promotion)

Generally P.O.(Probationary Officer) of a bank became Manager of a Bank after gaining certain experience.

The minimum academic qualification for P.O. is Graduation and generally SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) conducts P.O. Exam for bank.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation.

Qualification for Bank manager is as follows :-

He has to be a Post graduate
He must have an MBA degree if going for Marketing Post
Minimum % required in Graduation is 60%

If you want to be an Bank Manager then you have to appear for IBPS SO exam. This exam is held once in a year By IBPS and if you qualify this exam with good marks then you will get a job as a Trainee Bank Manager.

IBPS SO is a tough exam and the question will be asked from following subjects :-

1. Maths
2. English
3. Reasoning
4. Professional Knowledge
