Sir,

I have applied for Senior Assistant (Electronics) in AAI. AAI website has not mentioned any details regarding the syllabus or pattern of exam for the post. Though, almost all other recruitement agencies (e.g. UPSC, SSC, DSSSB) clearly gives details about their exam syllabus.
I would be very thankful to you if you can provide me the required details regarding exam pattern and syllabus for Senior Assistant (Electronics) post in AAI.

Pay scale : Rs. 6300-180-8460-200-12060/-
Age limit : Candidate should not be more than 30 years.
Qualification : Candidate should have Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication /Radio Engineering. (3 yrs course) from a recognized institute.

Last date for receipt of application and for payment through Credit/Debit Card :
16th August 2010
Last date for receipt of payment through DD/PO :12th August 2010
Application fees : Through DD/PO (Pay order) – Rs. 420/- (Rs. 400 [Rupees four hundred only] for application fee + Rs. 20 for processing charges) and through Debit/Credit Card – Rs. 414.34/- (Rs. 400 [Rupees four hundred only] for application fee + Rs. 14.34 for processing charges).

The notification published by the AAI doesn't clarify the exact syllabus and also there is no syllabus info available on its official website.
The selection shall be made on the basis of a
>Written test
-50% questions on subjects relating to educational qualifications prescribed
-50% on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English etc.
>Personal Interview
>Medical fitness as per ICAO Annex-1.

The written test comprises of four parts.
1.General English
2.General Knowledge
3.Mental Ability
4.Elective paper from the concerned Engineering branch.
