I have done my graduation in English from Gauhati University with 47.7% in the year 2008. Currently, I am pursuing MBA (HR) from Pondicherry University(Distance) and I want to pursue MA in Linguistics (Full Time) from UGC recognized University. What is the eligibility criteria for MA in Linguistics? Can I get admission in JNU?

Jawaharlal Nehru University will hold Entrance Examination for admission to various full-time programmes. You are eligible for admission in JNU as the basic requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with at least 45% marks and also must have an adequate proficiency in the concerned language. Some of the universities in India that provide MA Linguistics courses JNU, Bharathiar University, Annamalai University, University of Delhi, Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad, Aligarh Muslim University (UP).
