Admission in NIT for a candidate with 453 marks in GATE?
Hello, My GATE score of this year is 453 marks out of 1000. I want to secure admission in NIT. So, is there any chance of getting admission in NIT?

Yes, chances of getting seat in NIT are more if you belong to SC or ST as per your marks. Any how it depends upon following factors,
1. Difficulty level of examination 2. Previous year cut-off trend 3. Number of seats available 4. Total number of applications 2017 cut off history for NIT Goa are mentioned below, 1. Computer science and engineering Category wise: Open: Opening score 631, Closing score 549 SC: Opening score 413, Closing score 340 ST: Opening score 334, Closing score 334 2. VLSI Category wise: Open: Opening score 618, Closing score 553 SC: Opening score 478, Closing score 312 ST: Opening score 306, Closing score 270 So, you may get idea if you check previous year cut-off scores for various NIT institutions. |
