After completing B.Com and M.Com, can I apply for IPCC course of CA?

I have completed my B.Com with 52.1% and then M.Com with 55%. Now, am I eligible to apply for IPCC group of Chartered Accountancy course? Or, will I get exemption from IPCC as well based on M.Com?

Default Re: After completing B.Com and M.Com, can I apply for IPCC course of CA?

IPCC refers to Integrated Professional Competence Course and it is the stage 2nd of three staged CA course and to register for same, one basically has two options as discussed below :-

1) By completing the foundation course i.e; stage 1 of CA course first and then registering for IPCC.

2) By exempting foundation course in CA, for which the minimum education required is a graduation degree in commerce stream with at least 55% marks from a recognised university. Minimum marks requirement in case of graduates in any other stream is 60%.

So, having completed your B.Com degree course with less than 55% marks i.e; 52.1% marks, you are not eligible to apply for IPCC by exempting foundation course in CA.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
