Yes, you can apply for B.Tech even if you have completed Diploma from Private Institution (FET).

For getting admission in B.Tech IInd Year, you will have to appear for Lateral Entry Exam.

Lateral Entry Exam is conducted by various universities nationwide for admission to Bachelor courses.

Some of the Lateral Entry Exams are as follows:
  • PULEET (conducted by Punjab University)
  • UPTU LEET (conducted by UPTU)
  • Rajasthan LEET (conducted by Rajasthan Govt.)
  • MP-LEET (conducted by Madhya Pradesh Govt.)
  • IP Lateral Entry Exam (conducted by Indraprastha University)
