I have done 10th and then I did Polytechnic course in Computer Science and Engineering. Am I eligible to become a Train Loco Pilot? Or, do I need to study further for any other degree? If yes, then which course or degree? Or do I just need to appear for any kind of entrance exam? If yes, then which entrance exam? Please share details of that entrance.

The eligibility to appear for Loco Pilot recruitment examination is that candidate must have passed diploma course from a recognised university.

The age limit to appear for the examination is 18-30 years with relaxation for reserved category.

To apply for Loco Pilot candidate must have completed 12th or Diploma degree from a recognized university.
It is compulsory to have a technical degree to be eligible for the post of Loco Pilot.
As you have mentioned that you have completed Polytechnic Diploma then no any other degree required.
You have to apply for Loco Pilot entrance exam which is conducted by Railways every year. Your age should be under 18 years to 28 years.

RRB conducts entrance examination for recruitment in Indian Railway as Loco Pilot.
