I hv done mba and m currently working in a bank, can i also do CS course...??
wat will be the procedure to apply??
wat is the min duration of the Course?
When can i register n appear fr exam........??

I don't really see the point of doing Company Secretary course after completing MBA. But yes it is definitely possible to do the course after Master of Business Administration. However I would doubt whether you will be able to make good use of this course.


The reason I am saying that is because of your age. Like mentioned that you have completed MBA and now working in a bank. You must be in last 20s or crossed 30 years mark. After which there is very little scope for getting job because most companies prefer freshers around the age of 23 to 26 years.


But it is possible that some company may hire you since you also have completed Master of Business Administration.


Now to answer your question, the duration of Company Secretary course is around 3.5 years but since you have completed graduation, it would be little short for you. In your case there is no need to appear for the Foundation Course.

I have completed MBA (Finance) from ICFAI, Want to continue my studies, what courses can I pursue. Presently working as a company secretary in gulf region, but I have not done Company secretary course as it is not mandatory in Gulf region to work as company secretary. Appreciate your help.

Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is the institute which is responsible for conducting exams for the COMPANY SECRETARY COURSES.
The Company Secretary Course Comprises of three Courses.They are
1.Foundation Course
2.Executive Course
3.Professional Course
- One is supposed to qualify the 1st Course to be eligible for 2ND Course and to qualify the 2ND course to be eligible for 3rd course.
Eligibility Criteria for CS :-
- You should pass in 12Th in any Stream from any recognized board for Foundation Course.
- If you are a Graduate,you can directly enter in to Executive Course.
- Generally the entrance exams are conducted in the month of August/September.
The duration of CS course is 2 years after graduation and training will be necessary if you want to like participate cs course,
In CS training is not restricted to participate only.You have to under go 15 months training in cs to get the member ship of ICSI
